Yep, had come across this video before, but it's making its rounds again with the faux pas coming to light.
I'm sure if you even just pretend to be with the FBI with a rumor of a warrant
This did nothing to repair Liberty Traitor Safe's reputation. What Liberty did show us is that at least there is a use for their "safes."
6:40 this is probably the luckiest shot ever of the round spinning in the dirt after you hit the safes.
Wow didnt even see that

What are the odds of that camera catching that round spinning!? That's some next level stuff right there

That was cinematic. The camera flying off, to have a tank round land next to it, still spinning. So cool.
Pretty impressive that the projectile seemed to remain intact. Modern AP rounds literally melt through the armor due to the high temperature on impact
Long rod penetrators and heat rounds dont melt through armor
Deplete uranium long-bolts will spall their outer surface and spray burning flakes through the space as an incendiary effect, but the mechanical modulus of penentration demands they remain intact to push aside the armor material. AP rounds aren't designed to burn or melt-- much more effective to pierce through.

"How many safes would it take to stop a tank round?" That is likely the most American thing I've heard in a long long time.
Ok I need school
ET Hardcorgamer Honestly don't even know you but from the bottom of my heart thank you.
@Space Balloon I’m sure that’s about anything else compared to an Abrams!!! Mediocre penetration!! An Abrams can fire it’s main cannon at a target 5 miles away while it moving full speed (70+mph)!!! Nothing else I know of can do that from a ground mounted weapon! The A-10 Warthog & the AC-130 are capable of similar and greater penetration, but both are aircraft and the AC-130 flies at over 25,000ft up!
@ET Hardcorgamer The Sherman was a good tank in world war 2, it literally fought against tiger and panther tanks, and was able to penetrate them from the frontal armor with a 75mm gun. Hell, an m8 armored car and a m1 stuart killed a tiger each.
Assassin_rk42 well yes, the Sherman armed with a 75mm gun was pretty good. But do you know what was even better? A 76mm gun. I do doubt that a Stuart took out a tiger head on, and it would have to be VERY close for both of em. 300 yards maximum away for it to kill a tiger 1.
that camera shot of the still spinning tank shell just dropped my jaw through my desk! that deserves some sort of film award
