No Prince Charmings allowed 👊👸🏼 Lego Disney Princess Ultimate Adventure Castle build review pt 1

Look, call me persnickety, but if you call a castle an "ultimate adventure" it'd better have some sky diving or something. So does this new Lego Disney Princess castle deliver? Well, let's see...... On the plus side, it does include a new version of Snow White that is *chef's kiss*. Moana's outfit is gorgeous and Tiana finally has a more authentic skin colour.
If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Lego is an artistic medium and no matter your building expertise there is something here for everyone. Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets and create my own customs (MOCs). I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so things can get a bit hectic, but I'm sure you're down for that.

  • I think you should renovate it so it's like a big Disney castle for all the princesses and you can pack it with a lot of things like that you did with the Disney Castle way back when. I also liked watching the Modern Princess apartments and wish you could do more.

  • I think it might be called “adventure” since it’s a mixture of different worlds in one building and therefore an adventure for the player of the set but also the mini dolls as they can explore part of each other’s world in a simplified way ?

  • Ellie this set is huge you our a great builder and this a great set, though I agree with you we should all the princesses in this , after all this is the ultimate castle. Rapunzel deserves a new outfit though and they missed Anna and Elsa but I won't start a war cause there not princesses

  • Nooooooo, Ellie! I (of course) wanna finish this build! My favorite princess in this set is Rapunzel. Haha. She may not have any thing new, but PS: Mulan and Rapunzel are my favorites! And yuppie, maybe that kitty’s Marie but she doesn’t have a bow. Pink bow means classic Marie. Obi.

  • I would love to see a lego set like this but featuring the villains. Cruella, Malificent, Ursula, Lady Tremaine, and the Evil Queen. With their respective pets. Cruella with the dalmatians, Malificent with the Crow, Ursula and the 2 eels, Lady Tremaine and her cat, and Evil Queen with Ravens. That set would be amazing!!!

  • I now know where this set is from. There's a movie called "LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest," where Tiana, Moana, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Ariel are off on an adventure as they are each unexpectedly transported to a mysterious castle. However, Snow White has an axe, Ariel has a key (which she calls a scootieblot) and her hair mould is different, and Rapunzel has her frying pan. Tiana also has a nicer hair mould as well.

  • I believe this castle was based off of the castle from the Disney Lego Princess Adventures books. I've only read them on Kindle but I'm pretty sure you can find them paper back basically anywhere.

  • I hope to see more love for the Disney Princesses. I know LEGO is cashing out on how popular Frozen has been the last few years and while their sets are very nice (I have my eye on the Ice Castle for the mini dolls), I'd love to see them branch out more. More of Jasmine, more of Mulan, we *need* a Merida set and Pocahontas, more Tiana and Moana and Aurora!!! Maybe one day a huge set with all of the princesses!!! OR a set that has the princes as like an add on since I wouldn't mind a new Flynn Rider and Li Shang not in micro doll form. The possibilities are endless!!! OH maybe even a Rapunzel storybook or a Princess and the Frog storybook!!! Thank you for all that you do, Ellie, you are quite literally my favorite LEGO channel
