Please do a follow-up on how to properly smoke a cigar. I've seen some poor blokes try and smoke it like a cigarette by inhaling the smoke rather than just letting it settle in the mouth. They got sick from the inhalation and it ruined the experience for them.
Will do!
What’s the appeal of cigars if you don’t inhale it? Genuine question
@@bbqwater23 Cigar smoke is much too potent to inhale. Thus it's not about inhaling, but tasting the tobacco. It's a different experience altogether from cigarettes. But all the same, it can be very enjoyable and you do still get a nicotine buzz.
that's a good thing!
Same like enjoying the taste and aroma of tobacco pipe, or any ciggarete don't inhale it. Nicotine will enter bloodstream and will become addiction.
Pretty cool video even though I don’t plan on smoking anytime soon

Unpretentious, straight to the point. I love your videos. Am I right in saying you shouldn’t inhale cigar smoke like a cigarette but should keep it in your mouth for a second or two and blow it out of your mouth or through the nose? 🤔
Thank you!
Thank You!!!!!
You're welcome!
You didn't mention relighting if it goes out. Same again, don't draw it over the flame. Also I learned to slightly moisten the wrapper with your lips otherwise the wrapper can stick and tear. I've got to confess, hand rolled are an occasional thing, I'm a pensioner. My usual are Henri Wintermans Half Corona.
Just ordered some Romeo and Julieta and some Montecristo and some Ashton’s I can’t wait to smoke them.
Great choices
Good video. I always use soft flame on my sticks. Even from a distance torches give a burnt taste I just don't like.

Great tutorial brother. If I could simply add one suggestion, even before one considers cutting the cigar, I always take a few seconds, to make sure you have a cigar that’s been keep properly, and with the correct humidification. I first inspect the cigar first; looking for any splitting, cracking of the binder, as well as, mold. Lastly, with my index finger, and with slight pressure, push the unlit end, to see if it is too dry. If everything looks and feels good, cut, toast, and light your cigar. Enjoy!
Great point!
thank u bro I'm smoking a cigar right now

A torch lighter
Top G cigar
I was told should only use the wood of a match not the strike and never a Zippo(obviously, rough taste of fuel) not sure about gas though
Correct. The butane from torch lighters is much cleaner than a zippo and more efficient than matches but if you can use a natural flame that is ideal.
A lot of cigar stores you go to,may have cedar sticks, they are great for lighting a cigar aswell,or if you have a cigar that comes in a tube,it may come with cedar paper, again great for lighting

So do you still get any sort of buzz from just puffing the cigar and not inhaling it?
You need to explain the cap more. Not to cut to much off as it will just unravel AND the type of lighter to use. part from that good vid
at the 44 second mark are you sucking on the cigar or blowing on it?

Notice how no one is commenting BrEaThE aIr because Andrew Tate smokes cigars

I'm not a Smoker but one day in the future I'm a smoke a Cigar one day.
dont smoke bro
Until in my 70s or 80s or 90s when I'm more older in my retirement life.
Yes, I'm so proud! It feels like I'm watching my son grow up and become a man. Just don't inhale the smoke, and only cut a tiny bit off of the tip. The point of a cigar is to taste the tobacco, rather than inhaling it into your lungs. Make sure you have at least an hour of free time before you light up. I've had to learn this the hard way, as I am a former cigarette smoker that switched to cigars because I don't want to live in an iron lung for 10 years. For reference, a cigarette is done in ~5 minutes whereas a cigar will not be done until you smoke it for between 45 minutes and an hour, depending on how frequently you draw. Keep these things in mind, and you're gonna have a great time. Welcome to the club man!
@@sreggidon't tell others what to do.
@@PJ.Rob06they say cigars are more concentrated in whatever chemicals they put compared to cigarettes
You were spot on until the very end. Never pull with the lighter lit at the end. If you toasted properly you shouldn’t need to do that.
True. IMO one puff doesn’t hurt too much but lighting the whole cigar like that is a big No No.
With fire
As long as it's lit and you can pull smoke though you're good all the other shit is extra
Suppose to use a soft flame or wooden matches
If you know how to control the heat you can use any clean fuel source.
Not so , I watch many professionals that own cigar companies, the major ones, and they use torch as well, they show soft fame, match and torch
But one question, shouldnt you suck in the open flame because it burns the tobacco inside too much so it might taste a little burnt and not that flavourful?
I wouldn’t recommend starting a cigar like that, but once it’s toasted you can do one pull if you like and be ok.
what cigar lighter is that

Definitely not ALIKE, other than it’s something you light with a lighter. Most (not all) blunts use a wrapper paper, not actual leaf. But cheers boys, you’re learning.

His lungs are fine since you dont inhale a cigar.
@@StudSnob bro, cigars can still cause lung, oral cavity, larynx and esophageal cancer
@@joshuacrump7160 yes, but the smoke doesn’t directly go into your lungs. The main cancer you get from cigars is mouth cancer, because that’s where the smoke is.
@@joshuacrump7160No, they cant cause laung and esophagus cancer, as stated, you dont inhale them. The cdc had finished what is essentially a 30 year study, and hand rolled cigars (meaning just tobacco, not things like black n milds, and phillys which are just big cigarettes) have little to no health risks. "The risks are statistically nil". The reason the have gotten such a bad rap was because whenever studies were done there was no differentiation between premium hand rollled sticks and gas station mixed, sprayed, filler.
A very American way to light a cigar. Legit, but we do it differently here in Europe. Your method might overheat the cigar foot. We try not to suck air to a flame but to slowly light the rim of the cigar foot, preferably with a soft flame, creating a bulls eye. And through a circular or up and down motion of the cigar, we distribute the heat evenly. That way you reduce the risk of overheating which can impact the flavor. At least that's what we might choose to believe. There is no right or wrong.
"Do not shove the flame into the foot of the cigar" *proceeds to shove the flame into the foot in the next shot of b roll*
You know the lighter I’m using?
Looks like a tabernacle 👀
Correct
That’s how I light my blunts too😂
Properly 👌🏻
I’ve always been told to never puff while the flame is at the foot because it kills the flavor
I wouldn’t light the full cigar that way but I find one puff after it’s toasted doesn’t hurt.
الله سبحانه وتعالى صلي على محمد وآل محمد ❤❤❤😊
Think you may need to go back and ensure you start to cut it correctly!!
I did.
No need to puff while you torch. If you lit it correctly then no need to puff on it while you light it.
Is that a color changing lighter?
Yea, it’s heat activated paint.
What brand of cigar is that?
Foundation tabernacle
im curious. Do we smoke it like how we smoke cigarettes?
No need to inhale cigars as you would cigarettes
how does it benefit the smoker?
You’ll impart less flavor from the heat source into the tobacco. Hopefully resulting in a cigar that burns evenly with good flavor
You don't take a puff with the flame on the cigar you just destroyed your tobacco
🙄
He’s not wrong you went from toasting to charred in about 2 minutes lol smoke how you want though you bought it 🤷♂️
@@vader671 this guy gets it

Good luck outside on a windy day. But to each their own.
Puff and rotate. You missed that part
Lighting it with a lighter instead of a cigar match? Interesting.
Do you smoke a lot of cigars?
@@gentslounge I used to a lot in my early 20s, I would cut a notch out of the head with a V cutter and light it with a wooden cigar match. I was told it was ment to give the cigar a "pure" flavor by not ruining the flavor with a gas lighter, I never thought it was much of a difference but I personally never used a lighter.

Can we agree on if you're lighting the cigar on your mouth and your cigar lights on fire, it doesn't mean you toasted the cigar, it means you burned the cigar and iy becomes bitter
Omg 😂 your cut🤦🏻♂️
Do you need a video on that too?
Some cigar aficionado you are, everyone knows you should only use a match to light a cigar, gas powered lighters leave a flavor that can ruin a cigar and are too hot.
Why do they sell torch lighters at every cigar lounge in the world?
Congratulations, you're the first cigar smoker I know that hasn't heard about butane! 🎉
Mate how do you smoke this? do you inhale like a regular cigarette? if you don't what's the point of this thing?
you just puff it and the point is you get relaxed at least for me . And you have to smoke it in like 1h and not just on the go and stay relex have a talk or just listen to your thougts
If it’s glowing red no need to keep lighting and puffing it
