  • THIS CASE PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH. I can't believe that this guy literally invented movies, something horrible happened to him, and someone else got the credit. I'm so mad.

  • My theory is simple he was robed sometime after his brother saw him last, note that in 1890 and still today Paris was notorious for petty crime like theft and it was not unusual to be robed in Paris especially if you you were not from there. During the robbery, one or more men tried to steal his brief cases which probably escalated into some type of fight between Louis Le Prince and the robbers, probably because Louis knew that important documents were in the brief case and he did not want anyone to steal his idea. The fight probably ended with Louis beaten and the robbers angered after the discover only drawings and nothing in their minds of important value. Now angered and pissed off that Louis did not have anything important in their minds in his briefcase, they then probably proceeded to toss his briefcase and papers along with his either concision or unconscious body into the river. Due either to his injuries or unconscious Louis probably drowned. Note: the French police pulled a unidentified man who look very similar to Louis Le Prince from the Seine River the same day he went missing.

Not that it matters, but Louis was a large man standing at 6'4...

THERE IS ALSO A BIG POSSIBILITY THAT THIS SPECIFIC KIND OF CRAFT HAS ALREADY BEEN EXISTING WITHIN SOME SECRET POWERFUL FAMILIES WITH KNOWLEDGE AND CAPABILITY INHERITED FROM THEIR GREAT GREAT GRANDPARENTS SINCE THE FAR ANCIENT PAST, PROBABLY EVEN BEFORE THE GREAT WORLDWIDE FLOOD. He stopped working on his X-ray machine when it killed his assistant Clarence Dally. Thankfully everyone still acknowledges who the real inventor was but it could’ve easily went the other way

BUT as someone who's seen my mom get death threats from her uncles because they just _thought_ she would ask for her share of inheritance, ppl would definitely be willing to kill someone for a few extra bucks. The ones giving the death threats are rich af while we're from a lower middle class family.I still think Albert didn't kill Louis tho because of Lizzie's memoir.

    • I don't think it's incorrectly taught for the most part. Rather different parts in the world will tell it differently depending on what side they were on and their perspective. Great example for this the 80 year war between Spain and the Netherlands. I was taught that us the dutch were finally free and spain was oppressing the dutch and mistreating them. But someone from spain might tell it differently. Really you'll get what really happened if you take all the sides and pick out all the facts that BOTH or more parties all agree up on
