Michael obeyed God as well, because the love of humanity that God taught the angels was still in them. Michael just said they were lost and that it was God’s servants to guide the lost to the almighty creator. That was the whole point of Michael message to The Lord’s Test. This movie showed all of this was a test that God provided to keep humanity alive. God could’ve destroyed mankind along time ago because we all deserve hell. The good news came and that is the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that died and paid for our sins

Honestly, this goes deeper than Abrahamic faith itself. Faith in humanity is often brought up, whether because it is let down or restored, and again doesn't need to have anything to do with the Abrahamic beliefs. It is universal, and to me, any human, regardless of their faith, is capable of restoring it. You may notice that in this scene, Michael doesn't find his faith from the man's dedication to God, but rather, his actions of love to another human. That, perhaps, is the message of the film - that the core of humanity, of your various faiths, is about love for one another more than love for your respective deities, love that is selfless, love that you are more than capable of. After all, your deity shaped you in their image, did they not? And if you must feel shame for your sins, then I would suggest to either ask for your deity's forgiveness, and then work to be a better person, or actively make amends for them while also becoming a better person. You cannot change that they have been done - you are not your deity and cannot change the past. You must look towards the present and future.

I guess almost all poeple in Abrahamic faith /religions, will feel something with this scene. Me, personally feel shameful for all my sins.
Honestly, this goes deeper than Abrahamic faith itself. Faith in humanity is often brought up, whether because it is let down or restored, and again doesn't need to have anything to do with the Abrahamic beliefs. It is universal, and to me, any human, regardless of their faith, is capable of restoring it. You may notice that in this scene, Michael doesn't find his faith from the man's dedication to God, but rather, his actions of love to another human. That, perhaps, is the message of the film - that the core of humanity, of your various faiths, is about love for one another more than love for your respective deities, love that is selfless, love that you are more than capable of. After all, your deity shaped you in their image, did they not? And if you must feel shame for your sins, then I would suggest to either ask for your deity's forgiveness, and then work to be a better person, or actively make amends for them while also becoming a better person. You cannot change that they have been done - you are not your deity and cannot change the past. You must look towards the present and future.
I love a woman who you know may never love you the way. That you love her. Taking care of my baby mamas baby that wasn't even mine. And yet in the midst of darkness. I see those who will not be bowed. Some who know being lost is so close to being found.
