Totti is a legend. If football had a Cooperstown type of Hall of Fame he will be there....but no one can deny that his legacy could have been even better if he had gone to a better club (maybe in the early 2000's or mid 2000's) possibly multiple Champions League and maybe a Ballon d'Or.
Simply put, he was the quintessential one club man. Money, fame and accolades mean little compared to the adulation of an entire city that is shared by loyal fans around the world. Here's hoping that we will be blessed with more immense talent that strives for nothing but the best for their city and hometown club.
