Homemade cooler fishing boat with foldable pontoons.

In this video I show you how I upgraded my fishing boat with foldable pontoons. Now it has a ton of storage, shade, and is now solar powered. The legs still fold in for transport and fold out for stability in the water. I have added a timestamp in the description to navigate the video easier. Thank you for watching, subscribing, and sharing.

  • You could make it wider with 3 more coolers, or 6 more smaller coolers. You could add another seat with another row of coolers. Might have to double up on the pontoons. Definitely needs more power. Might struggle in any kind of current. Excellent idea and solid execution though. Cheers!

  • Incredibly creative approach to ordinary things!!!! Everyone in these pipes can see the sewerage, you saw the possibility of the supporting structure. In polyurethane foam (or whatever it is) everyone can see the insulating material, you have noticed the material for the floats. The same with containers whose usual use is polarly distant from yours. In this way, the same aproach to things, the boys from Apollo 13 were saved in practically no exit situation. I am impressed, very inspiring movie!!!!! Bravo.

And also you can made something like a lite spoilers for the pontоones/easy from empty 20l. buckets and hotairpistol/ This will improve the speed and control of the boat.Again :i like what you do. • Great job. It is hard to believe some manufacturer hasn't come up with a plan to manufacture any one of your' neat pontoon boats. I think if China gets a look, they would build one for sure. If I were younger I would build one. I would have a problem getting in and out of them. I am 85. Deciding which one to build would be the biggest problem. Have you ever considered pedal power? Then I don't think it would not require a registration. I wish I bad a way to get out on the water and fish. That would be perfect.

  • All the important things in life, water, fishing, solar power, homemade confidence! The solar panel will work better in the sun (maybe overhead) but that’s an upgrade for another day. Congratulations!

  • For a day fishing boat that's solar powered and electric motor operated. Cool points. I love the design. The thought put into this project covers most prepper needs and the fisherman's quiet backwater access to that perfect bass hunters spots. I could bow fish on this. I could spear fish from this. I can spin cast from this. Very well done. Perhaps add a sun cover to avoid sunburn. Ok. You did add a sun umbrella. The perfect project. Kudo's. I would build this also for my grandchildren. Maybe a very small sail (nostalgia) Love the idea. Definitely a subscription.

  • I love the design! One thing you could do to give yourself more space would be to lay some decking down over the frame. Then you could put a ledge around it and you would be able to bring more rods or a live well. One other easier mod you could do is get some track mounts and mount them right to the top of that front cooler then you could get a track mounted cup holder and whatever else you might want to mount up there. Great video man!
