Wow! Nice to have Matt Dubber in your channel, Eric. I’ve been following him in the AirArmsHuntingSA. I hope to see more collaboration between you two legends!
You can call him just "Legend". Everyone kinda knows who the guy is. 😋
He's not wrong about it being a long process coming to the US legally. I came from the United Kingdom after marrying my US wife. It's expensive and lots of traveling, medical, interviews, biometrics etc. It's so worth it in the end though, America is brilliant and it's my home now. And I get to shoot whenever I want :)
Awesome! Welcome! Which state did you choose?
@@TheSonsOfSimon thanks Ryan! I'm down in South Alabama.
shouldve just taken the shortcut. cant believe he didnt just go through the southern border.

Matt Dubber are the type citizens the USA needs more of God Speed to you Mr.& Mrs Dubber . Eric awesome video as always .
Matt is legendary in shooting. His 22-250 and 300WM are unbelievable.
Most enjoyable video Eric, well done both you and Matt!
Been watching Matt's channel for years. I got to see him sweep the competition st several different events.
Eric I love everything you bring to all of us that love seeing your channel and I really try not to miss any of your videos......
Been watching Matt for a couple of years already. Outstanding work.
Awesome video guys, lots of little details that make it that much more enjoyable. Precision .22s are a racket.
Great vid. Love seeing the air rifle comparison
The CCI segmented rounds come apart really well and so do the CCI standard velocity hollow points
Yes, you have two of the best air gun hunters in the world. Subbed to both for many years now. Well all 3 of you.
You two are both some of the most real people out here . I love seeing you fellas together shooting and giving advice. Who would have ever thought a airgun could do as well as a 22 rim fire.
They are FAR MORE CONSISTENT AND ACCURATE!
Eric, near wind has more effect because it set the projectile on a path angular to the target. Then, even with no wind near the target, the further the target, the more the wind near to the rifle affects it.
That's what I have always been " learnt" . Of course everything is a variable and condition dependant
Great video guys. Cheers Been watching Matt for a long time. Good stuff
Awesome! It’s great you teamed up with Matt
This is the kind of thing I enjoy . Well this and the beer around the campfire afterwards with storytime . Love this sh!t . Can't wait to see you get your visa and become part of the family . 👍👍👍🍻
That was owsum ,love to aford one ov thoses air rifels . Thank tou for what u guyz do
That was a great episode! Thank you
Spectacular video! Bro i think It would be wonderful to also see a comparison in small game hunting because comparisons between rimfires and airguns are rare to find.
Shooting air rifles in Tennessee, not to shabby. One of my favourite IV8888 videos so far.
Buenas tardes amigos tengo tiempo mirándolos sus exelentes prácticas en tiro.por podrían traducir en español.gracias
iraqveteran is just such a humble guy, good video and nice concept of comparing a rimfire to a high end airgun.
LOL. I ain't eat'n no bug neither buddy! Great video. Have a .25 cal Dreamline myself. These things amaze me. I shoot it more now than the .22LR.
Air gun evolution was getting better than greater.👍💪 Thanks for sharing guys, I'm also a hunter with airgun watching you from Philippines. 🇵🇭 God bless you both 😇
I love these comparison rim fire v air guns , awesome 👌 good fun guy's.
I bet all of this lead-on-egg action has "How To Basic" salivating!
Awesome video! Great job guys!
I like how dude isn't wearing shoes... SA for sure.
Welcome to the US brother...and thanks for doing it the right way...
This was a good show. I like those targets that reset. I do all the walking I want to already.
Just got an M4 recently and I'm loving it.
I've been subbed to you 2 since, pretty much, the beginning of time :D
Great video Eric and you have me sold for one of the FX air guns.
Y'all being in Tennessee I was waiting for Hickok 45 to come strolling across the field and then you would have had a hiccup 45 sighting similar to that of a Sasquatch but far more entertaining
Nice video and it shows the capacity of the air guns, it's really good congratulations to both 👏😉👍✊
Another awesome video! Would love to know more about that Anschutz. Action, barrel etc.
The STX barrels are badass, I haven't had a single one that I couldn't get to shoot lights out. Even my little 380mm .22 shoots lights out at a 100.
I wanna see these chronograph side by side
Excellent video y'all!
Loved the shoot-off with you guys and thanks for the interviews with both the air-gun guys!
The guy with the FX air gun never load in the whole video while the firearm keep reloading 😀
Well the mag holds 28 rounds so...
Awesome video. Thanks guys
Good show gentlemen.. Wiggins have come a long way
Its nice to see serious Gun guys respecting the evolution of PCP Air Rifles
"You can't just let anyone in." Evidently, you can.
My thoughts about the invasive species of monkeys Matt shoots in South Africa related to America's invasive species, is not fit for prime time.
That pellet gun is ok, but 22LR is 22LR.I love good old 22LR caliber, and this Anschutz is one of the most beutifoul 22s i ever seen :=)
I can't help but to feel the rimfire had the deck stacked against it... a borrowed rifle against Matt with HIS rifle... clearly not much of a challenge & seems Eric knew it and tried to just give us an entertaining video. It was enjoyable but leaves many questions unanswered... but clearly the gap between the two is closing... quickly. One thing to mention is the rimfire is more cost effective if you live in a where firearms are allowed.
Hi I'm new to your chanel and really enjoy your content. I been following Matt since he started and can say he really knows his stuff when it comes to ballistics and anything shooting/hunting related.
A W E S O M E video. Matt, it is great to see you defeat a rimfire with a air rifle. Thanks for this
what you didn't mention is the availability of high powered spring airguns up to 30 cal that you can plink all day with (or hunt) for a few dollars, AND will give you a hell of a gym quality workout cocking:) Start with a .22, then move up to the .25 or .30. Your arms and chest will have you buying new clothes:)
@@vladimirmihnev9702 Hatsan makes.30 cal gas piston break barrels.
@@vladimirmihnev9702Vlad, the .30 I have is a Turkish Hatsan, quality is very good, accuracy can be quite good and power is enough to kill deer, even wild pigs with good shot placement. I consider it an excellent survival type weapon, as its capable of doin in a home invader should the need arise, as well as bringing down a host of game:) With the low price of ammo, damned more fun than throwing money at paper, though you DO have to adjust/learn to shoot it as it jumps around a fair bit when fired. PLUS you don't have to spend 1000-1500 or more US for scuba tanks, pumps etc. nor do you have to cart all that stuff around, if you want to just go spend some time fooling around in the woods. One thing, it IS possible to 'diesel' this gun if you're not careful when you lube it. OTOH, it is also *possible* (but not necessary or advisable (disclaimer made:) to CAREFULLY diesel it on purpose which provides impacts you wouldn't believe. Don't make a habit of it...but....:) Lastly, hold off on a scope as the recoil/double direction reaction can destroy high dollar rifle scopes in very short order lol. Lastly, in total agreement on 'trigger' time, and you might just be surprised at how much fun the .25's and .30's can be. Don't know what the .30 costs now, but it was a steal when I got mine.
@@seeratlasdtyria4584 Dont ever disel a pcp.
@@PeterPan-lo1ci agreed:) Fortunately, I'm not a "pcp" kind of guy, I shoot to hunt, not poke holes in paper, I'm a 'stalker' so the pcp reliance on tanks etc. just doesn't jive with my roaming around the woods plinking etc. Kind of like golf: some won't play without a cart, some are out there BOTH for the 'game' and a stroll through 'god's country'. :)

yay, more anschütz content :-)
I love my airguns! Just don’t buy from Utah airguns, they’re your best friend when buying gun. But they railroad you when gun breaks. (Unless you’re a KZheadr that is)
Yeah, I bought a Umarex G2 from them, and it broke within about a month, and they told me that the G2 was not one of the guns they let you return. Meaning if you didn't spend 2000$ on it you're not getting assistants and told me I had to go through Umarex personally, but on their return policy it doesn't say anything about what brand you can return.
Great video guys loved it
This is where airgunners often have an edge on powder burner guys. Knowing how to dial or holdover for different distances.
Any rife air powered or not, with a proper scope, can be dialed for distance.
@@CobosDoesItAll That's not my point. My point is a lot of gun owners dont learn this stuff properly, whereas an airgun practically forces you to learn your drops ect.
1142 fps would make these air guns needing a licence up here in canada . i wonder what a rig like that would cost out the door . great vid
A basic Impact M3 runs close to $3000CAD up here. With all of Matt’s extras and the scope probably close to $7000!
he's getting 1040fps, he even says it in this and his own vids. Like Derren said, it's also heavily modified to do that.
Just found you, learned about you from warrior poet society I believe. Awesome content. You scream average Joe and it’s nice to see someone who reminds me of family making these videos with awesome content and such high quality. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That’s what I like about Eric and chad too. Down to earth guys. Could be my cousins.
He was like, yup I really am all that son, you damn right.
I have seen modified air rifles shoot smokeless powder assisted pellets. Interesting technique and very fast projectiles. Also, I wear glasses but I can't use scopes nor binoculars with the glasses on so I take them off and adjust for my prescription. Nice shooting. The pellets look like the barrels would be 1:9 or quicker twist rate.
so you've seen a firearm? putting gunpowder in a gun and using it to propel the projectile makes it a firearm lol. 🤦♂ It's a 40gr bullet lol, you can get away with a 1-16 through 1-12 twist just fine
They make bonoculars with adjusting eye pieces that you use with glasses, you might wanna get a pair they are great.
I actually tried that with classic oldschool spring air rifle, air is that compresed that it can fire the powder, but it's very unreliable, but when it actually burns the powder, it's crazy 😀 but you will destroy your rubber sealing if you will be doing that often, you can make similar effect even with some kind of oil or other burning things, air is that compressed that it's hot for a moment and it can burn it, it's called a "diesling"
You're very arrogant for someone who unironically believes that rifling twist rate is directly tied to bullet weight. (It's not) @@wildrangeringreen
@@peanutbutter551 it is more closely related to length... which if the bullets are of similar construction... means more weight. keep trolling though, might snag a good one one of these times!
Love from india, wow pure legend matt dubber
Really fun video!
I was on the verge of buying the FX Max until I watched this. It's LOUDER than the. 22 rim fire! 😂😂
Very Nice....Thanks !!!
seen this like 10 times, its still a treat 😁👍🇸🇪🔫
If Matt moves to the U.S. would that make him an African American ??? Great video
🤣🤣🤣
Nice fx
Jolly good time fellas, wanna come too!
What shooting tables are they??Great shooting thanks for a great show, and comparison
Eric, i'm ashamed of you boy. I shot an Anshutz while on my College rifle team in College (circa 1968) That rifle is capable of much better if you feed it the right ammo. I've watched you long enough to know you are a capable marksman. Mine (that the college let me use) would shoot pin wheels all day long if I did my part. Indoor range of course so I didn't have to factor wind. Finest shooting piece of shootin iron I ever had the pleasure of pulling the trigger on. Keep em in the ten ring.
Muy Excelente
Nice matt,
Good job ser
You were talking about a 22 shell that did devastating properties a long time ago they had one called a yellow jacket wish they'd still made them
Still Apples compared to oranges but they are coming a long way but keep in mind so are Rimfire rifles . Love my pcps and springers but my cz457. 22RF still destroys my pcps in general. Great review!
subbed to Matt! thanks
Cool video with cool dudes.
yeah bout one of these element optics titan and Ugg the reticle was So thick, yup sold that thing in a heartbeat.. Too thick for My 1st gen FX impact that's for sure.. Nice glass though..
Love my gamo swarm .22. Hitting dimes at 35yds. 2in spread at 50yds and 6inch at 85yds
I get a lot better than that with my springers. I have a Diana 56TH, tuned down to 21fpe that absolutely nails it with the accuracy. An Air Arms Prosport that is also stupidly accurate for a springer. I own the Gamo G-magnum, same as yours but without the magazine system. My assessment is you're doing well to get those groups. It's a difficult gun to shoot, and isn't particularly accurate. Mine does 29fpe and is an absolute handful with a crap trigger. With springers, you can achieve more with lower power, because you can get good shot placement. I shot a round of field target with my 56th recently and it was completely unfair to the other springer shooters on the day.
I'm so happy to see you target friends, we are in the same hobby, but it seems that in my life I will never have that air rifle in my country.. the price is too expensive for me..😑
Would be nice to see the upscaled FX slug outdo the Minies from a muzzle loader.
Avoid ScamBoy at all cost!!!!
I am amazed at the air rifles power.
wow, been watching each of you channels for a while and didn't know you all had some videos together, pretty cool! I have a Benjamin Bulldog .357 and recently purchased a gen 2 Hatsan Blitz (the full auto), I love these things, I have a few firearms but honestly enjoy playing with the air guns more ❤
He should sponsor all his friends and family to get out of that hell hole once he's a US citizen. It's Rhodesia/ Zimbabwe 2.0 over there.
It most certainly isn't.
22 lr is still more powerful there, even with subsonics and this annie is so beautifoul rifle and so quiet.Anshustz rifle is quieter than pellet rifle :=)
It's because Matt has a muzzle break on his impact, if he had a scilencer on, it would be much quieter.
Looks like a couple of kids in a candy store
The best part is the propellent is virtually free clean & abundant, "air". And you can make your own bullet with a manual press & lead rods/roles at home or in your man cave! OK you may need an air compressor or an extremely high-pressure hand pump {hand pump not an option for me} but otherwise THE off-grid apocalypse type perfect weapon! Well, who new:)
Gentlemen, that looked like great fun. I love stretching the legs of.22lr firearms when the opportunity presents itself.
Very interesting good comparisons good technology can only leave there’s something better🎉..
So why the muzzle brake on the Impact? Does the suppressor have an adverse effect on the shots? I see many guys use that brake it it’s freaking loud.
Lol, shooting through the hole on the plate. Yep, been there done that haha.
You will be welcome in Wisconsin.
What is the difference in kinetic energy on target between the two? Definitely like the quieter report of the rimfire rifle!
Nice video ,Guatemala city 🇬🇹 hi their
Ha. I knew they could pronounce the letter 'R'. They're just messing with us!
In South Africa there is an entire gamut of the way we pronounce r's :)
Would you please tell me what shooting bench those are. Thanks
