  • As a young man I have upgraded my style a lot! Now I only wear shorts and a graphic tee to a gym. After watching RMRS and The Gentleman’s Gazette and dressing my age I have been getting so many compliments every day I have been wearing a sport coat tie etc. Some of my peers have also been dressing up because of me and they have been watching RMRS/ Gentleman’s Gazette. THANK YOU!

  • I have an old Navy peacoat I sometimes wear and get complimented in public every time. For some reason women seem to think I'm in the military and home on leave but I'm only wearing it for the warmth. I take it as a compliment as I am 64.

  • Actually I I don't _imagine stepping out and being greeted with "You look amazing" every single time._ As after watching *RMRS, Gentleman's Gazette and The Chap's Guide,* I've learn how to dress like a cap, not a slob, last year at my dad's retirement home _(where he now lives)_ They had a Christmas party for the residents and their family's, I received over 15 commitments in 2 hours!

I wish these above mention sites or resources were around in the 1980's _(I was 18 back then)!_ It took over 30 years to become a stylish gentleman (learning curve). I guess it is never too late to learn, now I am 57 years old! More please!

  • Thanks to your vids, i started caring a little about my look. Fan ofmilitary colors. Especially fan of Olive Green color. Bought 2 cargos, a short sleeve overshirt. But, can't find a nice button-up in that color. Will also think of Brown, and Beige because it seems to combo well.

  • I have 4 blue suits in varying styles and hues, I just seem to look good in blue. My most complimented suit however is a sand court suit with a blue pinstripe. I think it is just a different suit that people don't see as often and the blue is still there to match my eyes and sandy blonde hair.

  • The end comment there about tuxedos got me thinking. I think a one off video about the rules for Black and White tie would be fun. I don't think a lot of men are getting daily or even weekly or monthly invites to Black or White tie events, but it I think it would be fun to get some of the details of these two upper levels of formality. Just a thought.

  • Dress your skin tone is an underrated tip. I previously bought a trucker jacket in a shade of tan, which up against my fair skin made me look sickly. I am now rocking a dark navy, G9, Baracuta. The fraser tartan lining contributes to framing the face as well if you so choose to wear it that way. Not sure if you've done a video on them before? Arguably top contender for most versatile jacket. The two way zipper allows the wearer to control the shape around their waist as well. Honestly I could go on about them, but I'll stop here.

    • @@VegasGuy1975 The no tie look with a jacket just looks terrible on most guys. Famous guys, expensive jackets/suit and shirts, most collars and plackets look terrible. Using a Slick Collar or a Collars & Co type shirt is a small thing that makes a big difference.

  • is it possible that you could make a video on how to look good whilst going through weightloss? I've ben overweight all my life so I've never dressed to look good, I dressed to hide my fat! over the last 2 years I've lost 1 third of my body weight. (8 stone / 50 kilo / 112lbs) I've gone from a 48 in waist to a 34 inch waist. I'm currently at 23% body fat, my goal is to get to around 12% body fat. I've been dropping a clothes size roughly every 3 to 4 months. i would now like to start dressing a little better than i used to any advice would be great! thanks.

  • I’d love a video on shoes that could withstand standing on for 8hrs at a tradeshow with a nice build and aesthetic. It’s an endless pursuit. Maybe the answer is two companies with a better insole.

    • The laced boots shown, but with danite soles are a good choice. You want structure but not pressure on your feet. Properly fitted, solid shoes can provided more long term comfort than sneakers. Sneakers are only better if you have to lift your feet often, e.g., running. Standing on your feet for hours, you need support more.

  • Hey Antonio, I'm 15, going to be 16 soon. I dress a little more "formal" (dress shirts/polo tees and chinos while everyone else is wearing shorts/jeans and t-shirts) for my age, people says it makes me look old. Is there really a point where dressing makes you look old or should I just continue dressing how I do. Just wondering if I could have some advice regarding this, thanks!
