The king has not moved in his bed for two days and nights. Many of King Lamoni’s servants think that he is dead. The servants tell the queen that Ammon is a prophet of God and has power from God to do mighty works in His name. The queen asks Ammon what she should do. Ammon tells the queen that King Lamoni is not dead and that the king will wake up the next morning. The queen has faith in the Lord and believes Ammon.
Based on Alma 19:3-5, 8-10.
Alma 19
3 And it came to pass that Ammon did as he was commanded, and went in unto the queen, and desired to know what she would that he should do.
4 And she said unto him: The servants of my husband have made it known unto me that thou art a prophet of a holy God, and that thou hast power to do many mighty works in his name;
5 Therefore, if this is the case, I would that ye should go in and see my husband, for he has been laid upon his bed for the space of two days and two nights; and some say that he is not dead, but others say that he is dead and that he stinketh, and that he ought to be placed in the sepulchre; but as for myself, to me he doth not stink.
8 And he said unto the queen: He is not dead, but he sleepeth in God, and on the morrow he shall rise again; therefore bury him not.
9 And Ammon said unto her: Believest thou this? And she said unto him: I have had no witness save thy word, and the word of our servants; nevertheless I believe that it shall be according as thou hast said.
10 And Ammon said unto her: Blessed art thou because of thy exceeding faith; I say unto thee, woman, there has not been such great faith among all the people of the Nephites.

Such a powerful reminder to rely on the Wisdom of God, sent thru His servants, rather than our customs or culture--or even logic!
I love the faith of the Queen and her love for her husband. Even if we show a small amount of faith I’m blown away always what the Lord gives back. This Queen gets back so much more than she ever dreamed. One of my favorites.
This is one of my favourite parts of the Book of Mormon and one of the greatest examples of love and faith. “...but as for myself, to me he doth not stinketh”- now that is true love!
I’m always touched by the love between Lamoni and his queen. They really did love each other. Something I would like to have known.
Sky Hiker 9 you are going to. ❤️❤️❤️
This is beautiful! I love this. Keep up the great work. Love you.
I wanted a scene where the king summons ammon inside and then they just stare at each other in silence for an hour
Reminds me of Alma the younger.
When those in power want guidance and a spiritual involvement in dealing with their problems, is is good to help them as you are able, but remember to direct towards faith and true religion.
Poor captions 😢
I like stories about miracles (:
And even more when I experience a miracle 😃 then I see how much faith in the Lord is backed by truth
Do they mean Ammonites?
