Great Video! At first it seemed complicated but pausing after every step its actually super simple! My phone repair shop was gonna charge me $400 to fix my screen on my Note 10+, but I just ordered a new screen and all the tools I needed plus new Back Glass, a new case, and a new battery (cause we pierced mine lol), all for around $150 and it works perfectly! The hardest part was waiting a week give or take for it all to come in but luckily my dad upgraded and gave me his old one to use for a while, my advice for anyone doing the same is to use yours or someone elses Amazon for free and fast shipping, and make SURE that the battery is the exact right model with lots of good reviews on it lol
Outanding instructions and video. I was able to fix my phone by following your instructions. Great stuff. Thank you!
I watched this video to get a handle on what needed to be done to do this, now I feel justified having a professional do it! There is no possible way I'd have the patience to do this... Thanks so much for this video!
I'm the same and my sausage fingers aren't the best for small fiddle things.
Probably best to pay if the data on the phone is important.

Good, straightforward tutorial. I would say the best tutorial for this phone on KZhead out there as of this writing. I busted out laughing when you showed the phone with 2 clamps and it cut to 12 clamps. 😄 Saved me a ton of money. Thank you very much
I just read your comment on another video. helped a lot thank you!
@@hailspersonal333 same lol he criticized the other vid
Just used this video to fix my screen. Worked perfectly. Only took 30 minutes. Very impressed with the instruction and attention to detail. Thank you!!!
Have you done a screen replacement before? I haven't and im nervous
How much did your screen cost?
Doesnt the razor blade scratches de phone?
No
you made it look so easy. thanks
Looks like you could perform that repair with your eyes closed. OUTSTANDING!!
Easy to follow with clear instructions tutorial, thanks for that. Just wondering if this part model will work with the Note 10 plus 5G ( SM-N976B)
@RealWorldReview very good tutorial thanks , i tried looking for parts on the links you had but they are no longer available do you have any other place you can recommend any help would be much appreciated
Great bit of tech repair there fella !!!!
Hello can the lcd screen be purchased from?
I know im late but this content is dope! thank you bro!
Thank you. Great video.
Do you know if a Note10+ display replacement will work on a Note10+5g? I just bought a shattered note10+5g off of ebay and I plan on using a note10+ screen + frame to replace it with but I'm not sure if It'll work.
Is it ok if the note 10 plus has tiny gaps around screen frame and backpanel where u can only slip thin paper
Edged phones truly suck with how easily the screen cracks! Smh. Thx for this vid, my dude!
do I need the double sided adhesive AND glue or is just using the B7000 glue only fine?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I made it all by myself just by following your instructions, payed 150 USD for the screen but sadly, I was very excited and broke the glass that is on the back of the phone when I was opening the phone but whatever , The front screen is now working! So be very careful and take your time when removing the back of your phone. just go safe and slow. About the screens I got mine for just $150 US from aliexpress and $15 more for the tools and the glue . the screen is around 300 US but you can get the ones with little defects for half the price, mine has just a little black dot and that's it. I don't mind having it when its barely noticeable.
was it samsung genuine?
@@metubeaccountko Not sure it was 2 years ago so I do not remember, But I still have it and the quality it's pretty much the same.
Where do you buy the replacement glass ?
I know this late, but I want to as a question. My note 10+ screen broke and was replaced but since then, the s-pen is not writing on all the screen. it writes on the side of the screen but not in the middle. I bought the s-pen sensor flex cable to replace it thinking that that is the issue. I cannot change the screen again because it is pretty expensive. Would like your advice on the matter.
dropped my phone, display cable came loose; video helped a lot. stay blessed cuz
If you are still using the CC method for removing batteries and other parts secured the same way as the battery, I recommend cutting a saw tooth pattern into the edge of the actual card with a knife or scissors. It makes cutting the battery tape much quicker.
where do i buy the new screen and frame and tools?
Useful tutorial bro. My screen broken little in corner but fine. What I find trouble is .you network goes and come while shaking phone in hand . I wonder how network is working in this phone ? Any cable connected to display ? Or Built-in? Please help
You made it look so easy, I know it is a pain in the 4zz :/ I just got mine cracked:'(
Hi. I changed mine but network doesnt work like before it became very sensible do you have an idea why ? Thx for the video
You helped me save money by doing it myself thanks for the video perfect instructions

Great video! Is it necessary to back up the files before replacing the screen?
Thanks! No you don't need to, but it's highly recommended in general if you have important info on there
Awesome video. Where would you recommend buying the lcd screen?
I know this reply is way too late but for anyone else wanting to know this ebay user sells them and mine arrived in perfect condition and installed without issue allparts-sell4u (I just posted a comment with an actual link but I think KZhead auto deleted it)
Where do I find the repair kit? Link?
Thank you.
You did a fantastic job with this tutorial. Thank you. This is very useful information for me. I was wondering if you could recommend a reputable distributor for replacement batteries for the Note 10 plus? I see tons of options available on amazon and eBay however I've been made aware that 90% of these are junk, and don't' deliver the advertised mAh rating... any advice would be much appreciated.
I personally has just self-replaced a Deji battery for my Note 10. It's working great with avg use time of 9h~11h (with screen on/off running daily browsing apps) and doesn't give off as much heat. Note that the phone own battery diagnostic will declare your every new battery as weak unless you change them at a SS service center.
How much does it cost in a service centre for screen replacement?
Great and thanks
Actually wanna order my screen soon as I get the funs an trust me this video make even easier for me not to take it to anyone to fix it when I do get the screen
I learned so much from your video please help me
Where do I purchase a touch screen replacement for a note 10+

Very nice tutorial. Great job. You "almost" got me to try and fix my screen on my own lol. I'll just live with it 😑
If only it was cheaper to fix lol
If I had all tools, I would do it, right now, iam doing the same, live with it, soon I will be careless about that crack
How much would it cost for you to do it
NICE UMM what happens if the screen doesn't turn on the when i plug it in to the charger the lcd comes on perfectly fine
Hi this product is not available any more please suggest me similar scree for my note 10 pluse I need
Heyy can u help me find an LCD please🙏
Have a link to buy the necessary tools, and screen?
In the description. If the screen isn't there, then there's a screen shortage
It's in the description. If the screen is not there, it's because it's out of stock. Right now there's a major screen shortage on the Note10 and Note10 Plus
Where can I buy the scree
Great Video, But now the caller herars themself twice, I took appart and the square rubber pieces are in place around the mic holes where the board meets. would you know why the echo now?
Might be a defective frame.
Nice! as I type on my broken screen 🙃
How many cost for only display, I want only display
What if I just mail them to you can you fix them
I was wondering do you need a new batt after that? It's a pretty serious bending in order to remove it no?
99% isopropyl can be injected below the battery with a needle applicator. It will dissolve the adhesive and allow you to remove the battery without bending.
Here's a tip: Connect the new display backwards to it's connector after disconnecting the old display. This way you can test if the new display works properly before complete disassembly. Just installed a replacement display, and found that it doesn't work. Only tested it after, reassembling everything but the back cover :/
Where did you find a display?
@@jasonplugowsky3086 AliExpress. Options of display with very little faults. And also perfectly okay displays.. so just select what u want read reviews and buy.. takes close to a month to deliver
My note 10plus screen is cracked but local samsung repair shop is saying your mother board will be changed what should I do?
Excellent video! Question: I just dropped and broke the screen on my Note 10+ last night. I have Asurion insurance from Verizon. I looked up replacement screens on eBay and other sites, but they are very expensive. It will cost me $199 through insurance to replace the whole phone. My fear is that I want to keep my phone exactly as is. Since I don't know if there is a way to clone my broken phone to my replacement phone I may have to go with the new screen. Any suggestions on where to get one? Thank you
Back up to smart switch. You can back up to a microsd card and it'll copy everything back as is.
Do at your own discretion. I did that and was never able to restore via memory card
@@RealWorldReview Interesting! I had to replace my Note 10 Plus and everything went straight back. Maybe your SD card was encrypted? I made that mistake initially.
Thanks guys. I could barely see my screen on my broken phone, but when I placed the new phone next to the old phone I was able to make an educated guess based on reference when hitting the buttons on the screen. Anyway, I did use smart switch and back up and restore. Back up and restore did move some things to my new phone, but not texts or apps. Then for the heck of it I used Samsung Smart Switch and I have to say it worked quickly and flawlessly. It basically cloned my old phone to my new phone. Thank you all so much for the help.
I'm going to try this omg im so nervous
Are all the screws the same length
Yes, but make sure to keep them in order
So theres a sizzling sound when I plug the screen cable in. Is my screen fried? Was doing a battery replacement and it did work but screen turned black after a min
Similar thing happened to me can u pls tell what was the fault ?
A phone surgeon! Bloody brilliant video but I'm elderly so I'll give this a miss and pay some dodgy ph repair place
did you used an lcd screen or oled if so how you know whats the difference?
OLED. They dont make LCD
About to fix mine
I have a question please, can I replace the note 10+ screen with the 8 one ? Thank you
Do not work on the phone. Outrageously different screens
How much is this job?
I accidentally cut through the battery and my left hand and face are on fire. What should I do next? Great vid btw
Where do you bought the note 10 plus screen
In the description
Can I pay you to fix mine?
genius!
does your wireless charger work after the replacement?
Yes. Only if you don’t tear it.
where can i buy the replacement screen from? great video by the way...
Description has been updated with parts, but right now they're hard to get, and pretty expensive (black one is here amzn.to/3eJyIs5)
Have you ever experienced receiving the wrong type of screen when trying to repair the note 10 plus? I replaced my screen and when i powered it on it has bezels. The oem is bezel less i thought.
They make aftermarket ones now. If you paid less than 200 it's not OEM
Only my frame has some scratches above the spen , how can i get a new one?
You need to replace the screen with the frame all in one. It’s possible to separate the screen, but very difficult without the right tools.
@@RealWorldReview so i really need to pay 350$ for a new screen repair even though i only want the frame to be repaired?
Otterbox defender, worth every penny.
I would contact Samsung and see if they can do anything for you.
Where did u source your screen?
amzn.to/3fSEsm0
Would you happen to know where I can buy the amoled screen at discount. All I can find is 200 or 300 dollar prices. Anything less than 100 would be phenomenal during these crucial times.
No one in the world can. The cheapest would be from Samsung
Do you have any links where I can buy an Aura glow Frame? I'm looking to replace my screen. Thanks again!
Let me know if you find it.
So just come to terms with the little, hardly noticeable crack on the corner of your screen. Got it!
Yep. Especially with the shortage of new screens right now lol
How long was total repair time?
I would take 2-3 hours if time is a concern. It takes me an hour to hour and a half to complete with drying times
My phones absolutely blasted on the screen and the prices of all the replacements are about 200$ so I'm glad to see it's not just glass 😂
Hello! Hi! So my Samsung Note 10+ (5G) is broken and when I took it in to the repair shop they said it was $600 for repair. Is this price fair? If it is, I might as well just buy a new phone all together. Thank you!
That's way too much. $400/$425 at most unless you have multiple problems
@@RealWorldReview so the screen is cracked and there is a few black and white lines running horizontally
@@nattacious Yeah a store should be able to fix that for under $400 for sure
U can buy a new one on ebay for 300$
Can I ask what the downside to ONLY replacing the screen and not the frame?
Generally the screens cost just as much as the screen with the frame. If you don't apply it properly, the front camera may be blurry. The screen is extremely fragile, so if the frame isn't cleaned perfectly, your new screen may get damaged. Most companies offer no warranty on the screen, but do with the screen in the frame. Lot more glass to break when doing the repair, as well as a lower chance of getting the best water resistance you can post repair (but assume your phone IS NOT water resistant anymore once you break the phone)
@@RealWorldReview I was told that removing the charge port damages the hydrophobic coating causing it to lose its water resistance
This is why I only wanted to replace the screen
It might. But I've changed batteries on phones like the S9, added all the waterproofing back onto the phone, and seen that same phone fail due to liquid damage. Always assume water resistance is gone once you get a crack in any glass components
I am confused. If it comes with the frame and the frame has all those things on it that i dont understand, will it erase my pictures and videos? Where is all that date located in the phone? I've tried connecting phone to laptop but I'm guessing my phone is asking for permission since it vibrates and i cant do anything because the screen is broken and flashing black and blue
Please help me thankyou
Hello, thanks for the video!! Can i use the battery if i've ripped only the metal foil that wraps it? There is any way of fixing it like sealing the hole with electrical tape??? Thanks
For $20 or less, you can get a new battery. Highly recommend that, or you might end up with a Note7 in the future
@@RealWorldReview Thank you for the advice, i'll probably will buy one. Here is how it is photos.app.goo.gl/pyVPBmFdtqoo3Edw8
Another thing is it might actually expand overtime (had this happen on an A01)
@@RealWorldReview But there is an high risk of fire or can it operate for some time??
In theory it should be fine, but expansion may cause issues with the back glass and even the display. Rather $20 for a battery than $15 for the back and whatever a new screen would cost lol
I need help
Phone still holds up in 2021 through 2022
apply the glue where you put the glue
yes
I always suggest putting a new battery in because if they bend at all they give off a strange amount of radiation I know this because my cousin worked in the airport and they thought her phone was a bomb
Can I pay you to do mine
DM me on Twitter or Instagram
How much does the screen cost? It seems like the display unit itself is the same price of a refurbished note 10+. Utterly ridiculous
Yes, the difference is you would have a new screen on your used phone, rather than a used phone. Refurbished doesn’t always mean that anything has been replaced (also doesn’t guarantee that that replacement was done properly)
Why is Samsung so expensive to repair. And what is the best screen protector
Part cost is very high. Personally I recommend the UV tempered glass screen protectors
Forget it
Now I don't feel so bad about the price they charge to do this
Dude... they charge over 300$ for just a screen replacement. A brand new note 10+ is 3-400$ just buy a new one or fix it yourself
Perceived value doesn't mean anything when the actual value is a real number lol these parts are expensive because people complain about the parts being expensive
@@RealWorldReview I'm not trying to be a dick, but genuinely how is a part more expensive because people complain? Demand?
Well let’s try to visualize this. You’re more likely to spend $20 than $300, right? Well there’s lots of situations that happen to get that part that you’re buying. Let’s say those numbers are cost, so let’s sell them for $40/$340, same profit value. You’re more likely to sell the $40 product, so you can eventually drop the price to $38, then $35, all the way down to $30, which now you’re selling even more. The $340 may drop to $338, but who wants that when for less than that you can buy the entire device used for the same or even less? So now that $338 price never drops. Not to mention if you’re refurbishing, that $338 part has a higher chance of being damaged during refurbishing, which will cause companies to raise that cost even more. So now that $338 part goes to $380 because supply is finite, and you took some away from the supply (honestly similar to how BTC works). So the part isn’t expensive to be expensive. OLED parts cost more money to make than LCDs, while LCDs are SOOOOOO much easier to make aftermarket versions of when compared to OLEDs, especially curved OLEDs. Even now an aftermarket Samsung Note8 (yes a phone from 2017) screen is inferior to the OEM version in quite a few ways, and the price difference is very minimal. Even then those are $100 for aftermarket while an iPhone X is $45. There’s more variables in pricing, but that’s the broad overview of why that seller or store isn’t price gouging you (assuming they’re charging less than $100 over part cost that they can show you). It cost me $210 to buy that screen wholesale, expect maybe a $20 price difference depending on who you buy from, but under $100 for the part will be aftermarket (for the Samsung Note10 Plus)
Only you can around five
totally pain in the ass. fuck it ill buy a new one
Only thing is.... A razer on those edges on the frame and glass.... A little minor mistake and a perfect phone is scratched......
This is so easy. Ha Ha Anyone can do this!! Except. Me😶
Same
