Most brutal hits were the ones that broke the winning streak of the 49ers and Eagles
1:12 Perfectly legal hit. They need a sky judge to overturn these types of plays. Literally gave Cleveland the win!!!
Nah not legal at all
@tripzn5907 perfectly legal. Clean hit, bad call.

Would like to see Steve Smith Sr. as a in game sideline reporter. Having him asking coaches questions and reporting on injuries would be a must watch.
11:30 Aaron Donald, #99, for the LA Rams catches Douds and pile drives his poor head right into the ground. No wonder these players get CTE. It’s hopeless for the tiny QB!
love how number 14 of the ravens got 2 clips of him hitting straight to the head and mr agk is over here saying "just playing the game and gets ejected"
There shouldn’t be any ejections for a football act, period.

Take their helmets away and turn this into a man's game like rugby
@@user-qr7ee2cp4y id love to see you play football with no helmet
@@AlexCentury your delusional tbh you just want people to do seriously bad shit and injure others for the fun of it
I understand the helmet to helmet hits but those clean hits to the body shouldn’t be getting flagged. That’s literally the shit I’d do every game when I played in high school, if you can’t make it to the ball you make sure the receiver can’t hold on to it
I'm fine if they throw the flag, but the sky refs need to be more involved in those plays and tell the refs whether or not it actually is and be willing to pick it up. A few of those this weekend should have been picked up but were not, but during the heat of the action, I can't really blame the refs for throwing it in the first place. It's all happening so fast I don't know if I could blame them for at least thinking it was illegal.
You, completely missing the fact that you gave people irreparable brain damage
@@Orphim the problem is the refs have to call what they see on the field, they don’t get to wait for input from the higher ups. The league just keeps limiting what defense can do because the big splash offensive plays are what draw in an audience

Best block of the year goes to Craig Reynolds! So nasty! And that hit by Tracy Walker too! These Lions players are dawgs!

"Defenseless Receiver" is just another way of saying what used to be called getting your WR's killed. Except squeezing the ball in to an oncoming defender wasn't praised back then, you got benched if you kept doing it.
Qb’s throwing shit hospital passes and get free 1st downs at the cost of CTE of his receiver. Great leaders on the teams for sure🤡
Austin Collie could probably sue Peyton Manning for all the times he got blasted over the middle trying to catch those passes😂😂

The players of the 60's, 70's 80's n 90's were like that every play. That's why the NFL became so popular. Not hardly worth watching now.
Thanks again homie. Another banger
If they were calling *some of these hits in the 70's, 80's, 90's, & early 2000's...we wouldn't have as many defensive players in the Hall of Fame.💯

Most of these players would not have survived in the NFL of the 70's/80's. I understand what they are doing (CTE) and I was glad to see them actually pick up the flag on one of those hits. That flag for "roughing the qb" on Josh Allen was bogus.

@@zznerzz Found the person who has never played football as defense before
@@3ndeavor I mean he’s right tho they just don’t want head collisions but these refs man..they call everything
@@jaquaveonandress649 even in high school football it's really hard to not hit a player in the head. It is instinct to curl up and put your head down before getting hit, thus offensive players will always drop their heads down before collision. As defense, you basically have to just get hit and wrap up the ball carrier. You essentially cannot have momentum, which limits how quickly and at which angles you can approach the ball carrier. Also, ball carriers have no limits as to how hard they can hit the defense, and if the OFFENSIVE player initiates head to head contact then it's the defensive players' fault, as explained by the first thing I said. Thus, it's nearly impossible to "just not hit players in the head" and still play good defense. I get not wanting head injuries because it makes the NFL look bad, but you're playing AND watching the wrong sport if you're worried about getting head injuries.
That hit against the seattle receiver looked clean to me bro even said he lead with his shoulder.....
1:54 for an older man, this dude was showing his biceps big time. Gotta give credit 👍👍

Broool that ravens and titans game I was there!! Big up Tottenham stadium!!
I understand players cannot hit helmet to helmet but sometimes offensive player lower their helmet and get hit and they get the call. Also this games is become more of just offensive game and defense cannot do anything of it.
Disagree, defense has been dominant this season. Ex. Cleveland v. San Fran and Cinci v. Seattle.
No question about the first one. He launched himself and aimed for his head.
@@TheHammer89 Skyline view from the other side showed that it was shoulder to shoulder on the Browns vs 49ers game. Not sure why it wasn't shown here, but they broadcasted the replay in slow motion on live broadcast. The slow motion showed that, the build up to the hit, 31 moved himself to the side to make sure it wasn't helmet to helmet. It was a clean legal hit.
@@TheHammer89There is still a question though. The flag I get, but not the ejection. In college, arbitrary "targeting" calls by refs can get you thrown out for one foul like this, but the NFL is a two strike system. Two in one game, that is, and that's Hamilton's first flag like that in his career lol. Fine and flag, sure, but the ejection was unwarranted.
The worst part is they are teaching players how to draw these penalties. I have a buddy that spent several practices a week just working on drawing penalties. Dropping your helmet at the last second and whatnot. It’s dirty and improper.
That call against the 9ers was one of the most BS calls I've ever seen

NFL hated on 49ers Gipson an all pro safety smh
You cannot launch at an defenseless receiver. Not even from one foot. He did that. That’s a new emphasis on the illegal hit rule now. He should have stayed on the ground and run through the defender.
not really didn't you hear what dean said "its a legal hit"@@sonofmiriam
as they should
@@anthonysalmeron3823 Rule 12 Sec 2 Article 9 states “illegally launching into a defenseless opponent. It is an illegal launch if a player (i) leaves both feet prior to contact to spring forward and upward into his opponent, and (ii) uses any part of his helmet to initiate forcible contact against any part of his opponent’s body. (This does not apply to contact against a runner, unless the runner is still considered to be a defenseless player, as defined in Article 7.) that roughing call on Josh Allen was so bad bro. I'm not a fan of either team and could not believe they bailed the jets out there.
That hit on anyone but a quarterback doesn’t draw a flag. It shouldn’t have been called on that play though, quarterback or no. I bet Josh would tell you the same thing off the record. It’s getting so ridiculous.
First hit should’ve resulted in a suspension. Absolutely targeted , made no attempt to go low.
We need to start seeing suspensions for dirty hits like the one Hamilton did. He had 2 dirty hits that game

I think he got hurt from the 220 pound man spear heading his ear hole.
The comment section is insane 😂 people are like "So what if he gets CTE? Just get good!" 🤣
Wow they are definitely seem to be a lot more strict on this kind of stuff now, I've watched a few big hits from like 5+ years ago and no one gave a damn. It was football, you got hit, the game moved on.
It's not just "hits" helmet to helmet is a major situation. Players careers have ended and been seriously hospitalized from helmet to helmet hits.
@@Dabx30who cares its literally part of the game, if you dont wanna get hurt dont play the game its that simple
I can smell the sweat dripping off your beer gut@@tysenmitchell5926
@@tysenmitchell5926 That is a small-minded shortsighted way to think. These are people, doing a job, and you don't have to hit like that and risk permanent injury to do it. Smashing someone's face in by targeting the head shouldn't be "part of the game". You have to view the players as people. They aren't characters on a TV show with special effects and stuntmen.
with all that being said, it's their decision to play football at the end of the day. if they don't want contact, there's flag football. no one forced them to make millions of dollars a year to play football in the NFL. the general population has more dangerous jobs that do not get the pay, recognition, and fame that these athletes get. in life, every job or decision has a tradeoff, and this is one of the tradeoffs/sacrifices that these players have decided to make as youth/young adults to begin playing football@@5995Oblivion

Hard for defensive players. Split decisions
They have made shoulder pads so small over the years that helmets are going to hit on every play
I really think bringing back bigger pads would help slow players down enough to minimize impact damage. It would also give them more surface area to hit that isn't the head or helmet.

Player's bodies have evolved since the first game of football was played over 100 years ago, and they will certainly continue to evolve. I see the future defensive players as having no neck or heads at all. They will go out on the field with no helmet. Just legs, arms and shoulder pads. That seems to be what is required to make a tackle these days. They can't remove their own heads before the tackle, so evolution should eventually get rid of it.
I haven't watched a single game in almost 2 years and this is why....tackling-15 yards
Exactly this is why College Football is better than the NFL the NFL have gotten way soft‼️
