Torrential Spring Rain Uncovered LOADS of Treasure (and Marbles!) in this Old Town Creek! Mudlarking
Springtime rains can be a treasure hunters best friend! We went back to our favorite creek once again to see what the recent heavy rains have uncovered, and of course to spend some much needed time in the outdoors. We were not disappointed! Y'all enjoy!

I needed this today. I just pushed play, but I needed this so much. I just got out of the hospital after a very stressful 5 days ending in emergency surgery. So I needed this more than I can tell you. Going to watch! Thank you so much!
I needed this comment! Seriously, thank you Wendi. That means the world to me. Wishing you the best and a smooth recovery. ❤️
Wishing you a speedy recovery Wendy. Kyle and Natalie's videos are the best. ❤
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Wendy!
Wishing a speedy recovery for you - Wendy ❤
@@WILDKYLE awww see this is what I mean, the Internet isn't all bad! You and I would likely have never met out in the wild and here we are for each other without even realizing that we were affecting each other! I wish I could have gotten to see you while you were in MI. We coulda been real life pals! I know it sounds dumb, but I really have love for you and your circle of people. You are an amazing man who attracts amazing friends. I know that KZhead life isn't always easy, but just focus on doing what you love and forget numbers and algorithms.
Back in the 50’s and 60’s those clear marbles with the waves of color inside were called cats eyes and much desired. The big guys we called boulders.
What used to be here that there are so many bottles and marbles in this creek? Was there a tradition of throwing marbles into the water back in the day? There seems like a never ending supply of them. ⁉❓❔
Upper states had marble companies and probably tossed the defective ones in the creek.
Great marbles and stoppers. The two Natalie found are cool. The flat "stopper " is a old house fuse with all the metal gone, and the second is from a coffee pot. Awesome finds.
Thanks so much Sandra!
@@WILDKYLE…, so these marbles are man made right…, like there are not natural marbles just lurking in creeks right…??? I’m going to have to add a new thing to my list of treasure, never considered marbles.
Yup, the 2nd from an old timey percolator, you could see the color of the coffee perking into the top to help get an idea if it was done or not.
Somebody's walking just ahead of ya dropping marbles
Interesting. So much history! Thank uou.
I love all the marbles. I'm a marble collector as well. It's awesome you're both cleaning up after all the people who lost their marbles. 😂 God bless ❤
Great video Made out like a bandit. On those marbles
Awesome job on the marbles guys
Really enjoy this! WHY do you expect marbles?? Can't figure why marbles are in a creek! 😮
So this creek was unfortunately used as a dump from around the late 1800's all the way to the 1940's/50's or so. The marbles are mixed in with the bottles and all the other stuff they threw out.
@@WILDKYLE Thank you, Kyle. It was a mystery to me ...😊
@@seekingtruthlight You're welcome! It's sad these creeks were trashed like that, but every time we pick up this stuff and take it out of the creek we're making it a liiiiittle bit less trashed!
YES!!! I love mudlarking too Natalie! Any searching for treasure to be honest, which is why I enjoy this channel so much. It's a lot of everything! Fossils, mudlarking, bottle digging...and trash recovery. I'm part of a group of shell hunters, their rule is "Take 5", just five pieces, and if all of us are doing it, maybe we'll make a difference. Okay, I take a lot more than 5, as we all do, and it all COUNTS! Have a lovely week you two! Thank you for a beautiful outing!
I love that y'all do that! I really do think if all of us do our part we can make a difference! Thank you Julianne. ❤️
100% believe that too Kyle!
⭐️⭐️Because you already picked all the marbles up‼️🤣🤣🤣🤣
You are making and living memories that will last your life time and you are letting us come along. Thank you so much for sharing. Stay safe. Love your videos.
I'm sure someone else has already commented, but that ceramic doll piece is a lid! I think to a teapot, but not sure. You two are so sweet!!!! I absolutely love watching the two of you! I hope to find a mudlarking partner someday. Take care! Love the channel!
I love those stoppers ya all finding
It's also so kindred to watch Natalie get excited about beads and buttons! They are SO fun to find!!
So great and relaxing to see my friend's Kyle and Natalie exploring!! Thank you Kyle for making my day. Greetings from Ciudad Juarez Mexico.
big snapping turtle
Love the doll
I believe the rounded clear glass "stopper" Natalie found goes in the lid of a percolator coffee pot. The marbles you guys found were awesome. I love finding marbles and I get as excited about finding one as you guys do.
The round clear piece, is part of the lid on a vintage stainless coffee pot. My mother in law this uses one.
The variety of marbles in this place is insane!
lol the doll was great!
They are so fun to find 😂
Ur marble, one of the toppers of nat's looks like part of a screw in fuse.. for a fuse box , way back b4 breakers for a fuse box were a thing. Just a guess..😅, love what y'all do..
Natalie, Bless your heart, for the poison ivy/oak wash with the exposed skin with Dawn dish soap and use a wash cloth. Wash really good to get the oil off and wash within 1 hour
I love all the mudlarking, fossil, and crystal discoveries! Would you ever do a video showing how you choose to display some of the finds you have kept?
I definitely would like to do that sometime!
I love them both, but I think the purple & white one is the best.
A lot of pretty marbles. I like Natalie's marble a little better. Thanks for sharing your adventure. 💕😃
Peewee marbles were the ones you wanted when I was a kid. Hard to hit them suckers in the marble ring. On the other hand the big ones were good too. Oh, can't forget steelies. Ha!
Hi from NY, Always a great video, thanks. You two take care , watch out for the snakes , be safe.
At 71 I find my Marble Hunting fever has been reignited 😃 I practically drool over all those little things when you find SO Many of them 🥰 Got to LOVE that creek❤️‼️ Thanks for stirring up my inner “Get Up n Go Do Something” today, in my otherwise half asleep brain 💚🩷💛💙❤️🧡💜🩵
the Royal Crystal item you found - 12:33 - was an old glass fuse. Your grandmas house probably had a fuse box that that would have screwed into. Nowadays you have an electrical breaker panel in your house, and you simply go trip the breaker to reset it,,, back in the day, you would have to find the blown fuse and replace it with a new one!
Royal Crystal found at 12:32 is a Glass Fuse that is missing the metal parts that would have been there. Its a Fuse that my home today still uses instead of breakers.
As always, great video! I have an idea what to do with all the beautiful pieces of dishes and pottery you find. Clean them up, then break into smaller pieces so you can use to make a mosaic on a vintage small table top. Of course, you will need to video this project so we can all see it! 😀
It would be cool to take the porcelain an enzyramid shards that you find and make a mosaic tabletop
I made a crescent moon once out of the old porcelain pieces. I've been keeping a lot to do another project with sometime!
Too much fun.
The next animal that you get has got to be named Marbles.
This is perfect 😂
Thanks, I was going to ask about the marbles. It amazes me how many get thrown out. Other channels find them in trash and bottle dumps.
Fun video, I like them both.
That thing that you called a "spear point" is a dart point (usually referred to as a projectile point in the trade), used on atlatl-thrown darts.
I am very allergic to poison ivy. The best home remedy is bamboo charcoal soap. I get a thick lather and put it on the affected area. Let it dry on and then wash off. It dries it out and makes it go away fast. Works better than most poison ivy lotions. I do use Caladryl to protect afterwards.
We shall forever call this place Marble creek! 😊
That doll is possessed for sure. 😆
Oh yeah, absolutely 😂
Yall aced it on the marbles, nice old bottles and parts too
Fun! The pink "Ponds" is a cold cream container.
The object you found at the beginning that was brass or metal is actually the back of an automobile mirror. the hole was where there was a ball joint to adjust the mirror.. Also the stoppers I believe are an electrical fuse and the other one was a percolator coffee top.
WildNatalie found some very nice stoppers, so she wins this time Thanks for taking us along Wildcouple 😁
Brandon's ( AA ) wife Miranda would love the glass. And Addie the same with the marbles.
Yes absolutely! Hope I get to take them there one day!
fat stopper looks like part of a coffee pot.
The "huge stopper" might be the glass "viewing bubble" from a coffee perculator lid.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It is!!
Natalie is now the marble qeen. 😊
I saw someone putting the glass pieces they found like that in a rock tumbler. It came out awesome
Aww, I JUST moved back to the area and missed the show! But loved the video, and maybe there will be another show soon!
Hello Y'all, you need to be really careful searching there as an absolute madman roams that area, y'all are finding his "lost marbles"!!😊 Be safe and take care, "God Bless ", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
i like the glower and the bead! lol cool hunt!
I'm watching from England.Very much enjoyed the video. We used to name the marbles when we were kids. Emperor and King Kong were massive marbles. The colours are fantastic
The cow tooth is actually a bison tooth. You can tell by the style between the two cusps. Nice find!
The pottery at 3:25 was made by Homer Laughlin. It is Oven Serve. They also made/make Fiesta.
Turtle soup on the hoof.
Kyle you should cut out the bottom of a five gallon bucket and stick a piece of plexiglass for those deeper spots
Oh, I can't choose between yours and Natalie's, they're both gorgeous! I love all the marbles, so awesome!❤
It's funny we chose some of the less colorful ones as our favorites, but I just love some of the subtle beauty of the less bright ones!
Try flashing the UV light on some of the buttons and maybe the bead, I recently discovered that some buttons really glow under UV lights 🙂
You could keep the potery an make a mosaic table top
Wow!!! 60marbles!!! That is Crazy!!! I don't think I have ever found that many in 1 hunt!!! Congratulations!!! I Love the stoppers!!! God Bless Us All!!!
Hello kyle and Natalie. Love all your adventures!! Checked out the river the last two days, looking great up here in Michigan. Yes, of course we picked up trash while walking around. 😊
Glad to hear y'all picked up trash while out! ❤️ Hopefully we're up in Michigan within the next few months!
@@WILDKYLE we always try to. 😊
I look forward to seeing you at your show
The dish/bowl is milk glass, pretty. Big marbles are shooters! Broken marbles do not roll off shelves.
YEY! My favorite people! I like the bottles from Columbus Ga. I was born and raised there..LOL. Great finds today guys! Love ya! Be safe , watch out for the snakes and turtles!
You guys need a flea catcher, it’s a metal bucket on a pole that you can dig into the bottom of stuff, pull it up and see what ya got! People use them for shelling but I think it would be perfect for the deep spots in the creeks/riverbeds..👍😘
Kyle, this was a sweet video with Natalie and the hoard of marbles. Liked your fave marble and your big turquoise shooter, but Natalie's glowy marble was awesome too. Back in the day, kids bought a bag of about forty marbles for somewhere around twelve cents. : )
I liked both of your marble picks, but my favorite was one of Natalie's found near the end. 31:54 I think. It's pale sage green w/an orange swipe across it. Subtle colors but very beautiful. Thanks for all your vids. Love adventuring with y'all.
Nice work ! Good looking marbles
Very nice variety of treasures found with all the colorful marbles, stoppers, bottles!
I like the bowl!
That blue and white speckled blue ceramic marble Bennington could be one of the marbles that are worth alot hundreds maybe a grand . You also had the marble that was German handmade . That can among marble people go for 500 or so . If someone wants it.
Sitting in hosp waiting for my ride know exactly how you feel
The bowel is milk glass. I would save the glass to tumble.
You need to sift in the area where the most marbles are at and maybe figure out where they are coming out of. I love the video and I am so glad you found a girlfriend she's so funny just like you, well almost as funny hahaha yall stay safe and make more mudlarking together they are so nice to watch. Again, stay safe, guys.
Awesome finds on your adventure. My favorite was the red bead!
Excellent video as usual...loved all the marbles...that clear glass y'all found that look like a small cup is a Fuze that was screwed into the electric box ❤❤❤❤
@4.09 the round item is either a wing mirror back or a motorcycle mirror back
Loved this adventure
Hope you’re doing well my friend
Thank you Sean! Man, I hope we get to meet up one of these days and hunt some treasure!
@@WILDKYLE I’d love that. I really wanna come down your way!
I love your videos I have been watching them for a long time. Yeah you and Chris need to take Bree and Natalie to the amethyst place where you dig in the quarry and then you guys should go to the place that Chris and Bree went in Tennessee I think and they found all those Geos everywhere. lol on a side note if you and Chris ever asked the girls to marry you it would be a pretty good awesome story that you guys went amethyst hunting and you guys found the perfect Crystal together.
Wow it really was a marble day! You both found some awesome marbles! My favorite was Kyle's favorite but they both paled in comparison to Natalie's two blue planet ones! They were my favorite ones of the day! Lol! And I love the fact that you are incredibly kind to all God's creatures big and small! Not wanting to break the spiders web! So sweet! Thank you for the video! I love seeing you two together and how wonderfully sweet and kind to each other! It's just so heartwarming to see you truly happy finally! Thank you Natalie for making our Kyle, so wonderfully happy! Thanks you guys?❤️
That was definitely an old glass fuse not a stopper. My house is 100 years old and we still use them on one circuit.
I could hunt for marbles all day long! Love all of your finds!
Us too! We love finding them so much. Each one is different and unique!
Wow, the dark blue marble looked like the night sky with the Milky Way!!
Cool video. I enjoyed the creek walk. Have you ever considered picking up trash along the way? It would be cool to weigh it and share that at the end...
Yep! We picked up a bunch in this video. We pick up a bunch every time we go out! Haven't tried weighing it yet.
Awesome. My wife hunts with me also. We are in northeast ms
You should keep the pottery and make stepping stones.
Great vid again. The blue marble with red swirls is a Peltier Spiderman and the clear one with the white lines down the sides looks like a German hand made Gooseberry. Both worth good money not that it means much as you keep them all.
The creamy colors of the marbles you found were the marbles of my youth. I love marbles. Who I ask you, WHO.!!! Would throw away a marble?😂 Thanks for the fun day
⭐️‼️⭐️FYI: There is a company that still makes marbles the old fashioned way; they have been making marbles for at least 100 years. If you contact them you can find out how much your marbles are worth. Some marbles are worth anywhere up to $1000/Each‼️‼️‼️‼️
marbledar📡
I am 67 years old, and my friend and I used marbles when we were kids as ammo for our wrist rocket slingshots. My mom made a killer squirrel stew. I am sure we were not the only kids with that idea. Squirrels like oak hammocks near creeks, and we never got the marbles back.🙂
Y'all gotta check the banks of that creek! Awesome marbles!!!💜💜💜 And Natalie, what kind of gloves are you wearing?🤗💜
I think they were just some gardening gloves from Wal-Mart haha!
@@WILDKYLE I work at Walmart now!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Really enjoyed this video. I would love to mudlark with u. But terrified of snakes.
Put a black light on your ponds jar. Glass with Magnésium I'm sure you know turns purple The ponds jar is mulk glass. But not all sand is mineral free. Love to hear if it turns green Good luck
Coffee pot "stopper'
No two marbles were the same!' It must have been fun to make them in the old days. I was thinking that they survived because of their size and shape. Think of all the kids who played with them so many years ago. 😊 Thank you for taking us along!
