Torrential Spring Rain Uncovered LOADS of Treasure (and Marbles!) in this Old Town Creek! Mudlarking

Springtime rains can be a treasure hunters best friend! We went back to our favorite creek once again to see what the recent heavy rains have uncovered, and of course to spend some much needed time in the outdoors. We were not disappointed! Y'all enjoy!

  • I needed this today. I just pushed play, but I needed this so much. I just got out of the hospital after a very stressful 5 days ending in emergency surgery. So I needed this more than I can tell you. Going to watch! Thank you so much!

You and I would likely have never met out in the wild and here we are for each other without even realizing that we were affecting each other! I wish I could have gotten to see you while you were in MI. We coulda been real life pals! I know it sounds dumb, but I really have love for you and your circle of people. You are an amazing man who attracts amazing friends. I know that KZhead life isn't always easy, but just focus on doing what you love and forget numbers and algorithms.

  • What used to be here that there are so many bottles and marbles in this creek? Was there a tradition of throwing marbles into the water back in the day? There seems like a never ending supply of them. ⁉❓❔

  • YES!!! I love mudlarking too Natalie! Any searching for treasure to be honest, which is why I enjoy this channel so much. It's a lot of everything! Fossils, mudlarking, bottle digging...and trash recovery. I'm part of a group of shell hunters, their rule is "Take 5", just five pieces, and if all of us are doing it, maybe we'll make a difference. Okay, I take a lot more than 5, as we all do, and it all COUNTS! Have a lovely week you two! Thank you for a beautiful outing!

  • the Royal Crystal item you found - 12:33 - was an old glass fuse. Your grandmas house probably had a fuse box that that would have screwed into. Nowadays you have an electrical breaker panel in your house, and you simply go trip the breaker to reset it,,, back in the day, you would have to find the blown fuse and replace it with a new one!

  • I am very allergic to poison ivy. The best home remedy is bamboo charcoal soap. I get a thick lather and put it on the affected area. Let it dry on and then wash off. It dries it out and makes it go away fast. Works better than most poison ivy lotions. I do use Caladryl to protect afterwards.
