The Shaolin Warrior Monks put on a display of amazing animal forms as part of their performance at the Shaolin Temple Cultural Festival on October 12, 2013 in Los Angeles, CA. On display were such varied forms as Frog, Mantis, Snake, Eagle Claw and Scorpion as well as others.

    • Some forms were mostly for the opera. Others were just for just physical training. Frog and Scorpion both are pretty useless forms in terms of applications.

  • Wow. After years of reading Louis Cha's novel, I thought the Toad-style was another interesting style he made up. Didn't know it was real before this. And from what I'd seen in this clip, his description of the style was pretty accurate

  • I wish to be surrounded by such individuals they know how to express themselves in their practice taking it from animals the best teachers of life and they know for what they are here I sometimes take inspiration into my practice watching their performances especially when I need to deal with more than just difficult individuals I love their worlds their gestures their moves tells a story about their minds 😊💚💚💜 and then I practice for two hours or three watching many performances jumping and only doing kicks hahaha but it does really help to heal from so many unhealthy and unconscious environments

    • @@prabingautam421 Well, consider that there is specific kung fu terminology such as tendon separation, joint breaking and killing techniques that have been in existence for over a thousand years. Monks have been trained as small children training 10 hrs or more every single day. Many techniques are designed to kill. Some train so hard their hands become disfigured. Les than a hundred years ago private kung fu death matches were held. You decide.

  • ...en piso de ceramica y con que limpiador !!... era para que todos se fracturaran ..pero ellos no lo toman como una malintencion o malicia y ni siquiera como una ocasion de demostrar su poderio personal o grupal sino como una situacion donde hay que sobrepasar para continuar en su camino a la perfeccion no personal sino mas bien del kung fu y quienes lo practiquen despues de que ellos hayan muerto..todo el tiempo estan meditando se les atribuyen que son resistentes agiles fuertes habiles rapidos ...mas de lo normal pero no de su valentia o humildad ..no se inmovilizan de miedo y no se creen ser excelentes...Y lo mas de notar que perciben con mas claridad por sus sentidos la naturaleza y la vida en ella y en si mismos..esto no lo han podido representar en un video y la escena de la hija del maestro entrenando en el jardin cubierto de nieve mas parece que desprecia el agua y que es puro fuego cuando en realidad se esta uniendo con esos elementos en armonia y no es para destruir es para preservar.. ninguno de ellos incluyo a la hija del maestro aunque en este grupo Shaolin no hay ninguna.. porque si en tkd o kd no se permitian hembras.. Shaolin las aceptaba.. La historia del emperador que destruye Shaolin fundo la regla que no se usa este conocimiento sicofisicoespiritual para guerras donde un lider invade otro pais para genocidio se usa para defender a los debiles mujeres niños ancianos mas para la policia que los ejercitos estos solo sirven para proteger un pais de una invasion ..es lo correcto.

    • I think you should start with the very básics (É.G.: Sil Nin Tao Form) and do calisthenics...also a "martial arts subliminal" (look it up on KZhead) would be good to condition the mind. That would be a start

Well, consider that there is specific kung fu terminology such as tendon separation, joint breaking, and killing techniques that have been in existence for over a thousand years. Monks have been trained as small children, training 10 hrs or more every single day. Many techniques are designed to kill. Some train so hard that their hands become disfigured. Less than a hundred years ago private kungfu deathmatches were held. You decide who will actually win a fucking "real fight".
