The worse for me is because they have connections, like GOOD connections and don't help NONE of the friends that needs, me for example, I was "bff" with two rich girls, here and there I was struggle to find a job(they knew) and I already saw both helping each other so in my mind if has anything they could do it, they will.... wrong all the way.... they don't even make it the connection between the two things, I sent it a message saying something like: " I appreciate our friendship but don't think is working the best, is probably better if we take a time from each other." The next thing I have to deal with was one of them crying, saying that she knew life was hard, because she had to travel to China at the same weekend she need it call off the manager of one of the family's stores, the other one? For her, live was hard because she couldn't go to Europe.... I'm on a budget, counting coins to survive.... They couldn't help me with anything, but could help each other

I've seen some rich people talk about the time in their childhood when they weren't yet crazy rich but they lived an upper middle class lifestyle like they're talking about being homeless and starving. Lmao i grew up with people like this while my family was struggling. One time i went out for a drink with a friend (3 years after high school), she was like "did i show you my new car yet? I never struggled with money but there’s something called ✨empathy✨ where you don’t have to experience something to understand it. also even if you don’t understand it you can just shut up and be supportive without giving advice.

If she were your true friend she'd literally just take you on a boat. If she has that many connections and real wealth to her (or her parents') name, then she should just be hooking you up. I once attended an afternoon get-together where a random guy just decided to get all the women there whatever handbag they wanted that day (like €16000 bags). I didn't want anything because I liked my handbag and also didn't feel right about it, as it was our first time meeting and I was seeing someone and it just felt weird.
