That is one sweet ride.
Great to see a younger guy get into the old car hobby. Thank you for not buying an obnoxious Subatu that backfires and they think it's cool. In my day, constant backfiring indicated a lively ignition issue. Nice 69. True N14 cars are scarce. Good luck with your beautiful 69.
Thank you! I need to pick up a c2 next!
My first ride in a vette was in my friends 69 blue/ blue convertable and I was instantly hooked!!! Love your car
That’s awesome man and thank you!
You do not see that every day, congrats.
Thank you! I’m excited to start working on it and getting it to be a daily driver
C3 owner for over 30 years. I'd make it look factory correct. If you ever plan on selling, the original motor and restored to factory appearance is appealing to many would be buyers. The originality thing is less of a thing for other cars such as Camaros or Mustangs except for the high collectible models. Restomods are a new category that will be interesting to follow. But a factory sidepipe car is pretty rare and a 1 year only for C3s. Good luck.
That’s the plan! Already bought the correct date coded exhaust and intake manifold for it! Just need to paint some things and it’ll look good and factory correct!
Sweet nice I hope to have 2 stingrays in my garage very soon 😊
Thank you and I hope you make that happen!
Seeing those 2 side by side is bad ass! How’s the progress get that vacuum fixed? I got a 1968 making heads turn every Saturday!
Beautiful !
Thank you I’m very excited on picking this one up!
Hey Nick, love the content. My rear end on my 1980 corvette also needs some work so I’m completely replacing it. Is yours just a rebuild or does it also require the entire thing to be replaced ? Btw seems like a great find for the price. How’s the underbody and mileage ?
Thank you definitely want to try to make longer videos! I’m just doing a rebuild on mine. The underbody is very clean, at some point this car was hit but has a very nice repair on it!
Nice old vette- I prefer original too
Thank you and yes it’s pretty cool that after 55 years it still has the same engine and transmission
I just got this car in hotwheel form at the grocery store
Nice find!
$100 and a 6 pack of Coca Cola take it or leave it
Lol
I never understand the need to bring an old car that will never be worth much and keep it old with old parts..... That 69 could be a runner with aftermarket parts, roller motor, heads and some tricked out shit
My other 69 has a performance sb in it and a few other things! That’s why I think it’s cool to try to keep this one as original as I can!
I agree with that expect when people purposely buy oem parts over newer improved ones just to keep it original?
@@Hacker-cw9lc I have a 76,it will never be worth shit so I added cool fast parts
Small block not so wanted
Lol
