Yes, I do believe they ruined their progression system. It might have become more balanced than before, I don't have the stats and honestly it feels more balanced now...that said, it is NOT fun. It used to be though.

The problem is no one actually wants portraits or titles. I swear. The portraits should just be variant locked like the spotlight cache. Replace em instead with nice special early preview portraits if you have to still give is actually nothing
Dude, exactly! When I got my 4th avatar in a row I started questioning myself why the hell we don't get those avatars just like we get spotlight ones. This is simply a stupid way to fill caches with trash and delay the variants acquisition overall!

And the best part. I'm never changing off of the White Widow Artgerm profile icon, I just got with 400 gold. Profile icons are just useless to me now. The ones in the shop, and the ones in the cache. Ones somebody gets a cosmetic they like, there's no reason to ever want another one.
Respect the Shoulder Pads is a 90’s comic reference, pretty much everyone had MASSIVE shoulder pads. Look at Cable, Domino, Deadpool, and pretty much anyone else Rob Liefeld had a hand in creating and you’ll see.

remeber when we use to get 100 to 600 tokens every 4 chests now , 100 every 8. I stopped opening them as I do not want the gold conquest tickets. It just not worth it
I’m in the same boat. I have 200 of them, but I don’t wanna open them for the same reason. Also I’m hoping they do another series drop, but not gonna hold my breath on that one. Really hoping they improve the rewards and take out the golden tickets!
But if you don't open them you are slowing your own progress since we can get a big chunk of credits from it to keep upgrading cards to get keys.
@@RagsTattoo I am currently missing 20 series 5 cards and have 8 spare keys, I just got to be selective of what I get to build the decks I want. If I am really desperate for keys I can always open the collector reserves then, your not really slowing down your progress, you are just choosing not to use the resources yet. I currenlty have 358 collector reserves unopened.

Fyi for those who haven’t opened reserves the dev team has said that if they make changes to the cache system then they will force open the caches for those who have saved them up so they’re not at a huge advantage compared to those who haven’t saved up

That's crazy you got 12 variants out of 100 caches. 100 for me has been a mixture of credits, titles tickets, and tokens only. Rare to get any variant. Counted last 50, only 2... CL8k
I rely on the spotlight caches a lot and SD ruined them by adding titles, avatars, and conquest keys. I feel they need to add a new cache that takes longer to get, but guarantees the possibility of more Tokens, rare+ Variants, or a new card.
This is supposed to feel rewarding. You are right. And thats why alot of players are hoarding their reserves because there is no point in opening them. I have 400 unopened reserves
They totally messed up the reserves. I'm only at 10K collection level and I feel like I NEVER get variants. If it wasn't for the keys I probably wouldn't even bother splitting cards at this point

I haven't opened reserved since they switched the system (except when there was the series drop, I opened til I got the cards I needed). I was hoping they would continue doing variant rushes, but that doesn't seem like it's gonna happen ever again. So now I'm just sitting on a ton of caches til the next series drop.

I'm still working through pool 3, and I hate that sometimes I'm one pool 3 card away from a truly functional version of a deck. If we could spend collector's tokens or something else to just unlock specific cards from at least pool 3, it would be soooo much easier.

theres alot of content in hades so if you started a month or two before hades 2 comes out you could probably get through all the story stuff

How are you getting so many variants? I just finished series 3 recently and ~400 CL later, I get anything but variants. I used to get variants once every ~150 CL before i completed my series 3 cards.

You can tell when it's going to be a card variant, because it takes longer to load than the others
I’ve hardly played SNAP at all the last few months and this is a big part of the reason why.
Imo, there needs to be a new bit for card acquisition. I think a daily random spotlight cache in the shop would be nice, with 3 random 4/5 cards, and if you own one already, its one of their past Spotlight variants. Helps with the lack of tokens and weeks where you're not interested in any spotlights (I think I'm skipping the next 5 weeks, which means no new cards for at least a month)
Curious to see if a majority of players would prefer fewer caches with higher value contents. Say you received half the rate of caches but knew it would have credits/tokens/variants only. No avatars, titles, tickets.

Reserves are only useful to me because they bring me Pool 3 cards I dont have yet. Im excited to see my 2 new cards every week. They seem completely useless once you own the entire pool tho

They pretty much have. There hasn't been a pixel variant of a new card (monthly or spotlight) since Lady Deathstrike back in August. Everything else is older cards. Even the "new" pixels that show up are for older cards and they're simply releasing artwork that's been in the files for months on end.
Because Pixel is still a style that people may like. Anyone’s opinion on a style is subjective.

The “random” reward we should not ever get is the conquest tickets. Conquest is so boring and takes so long. 6-7 rounds each time. People forfeit the round when they don't have the starting hand drug they want. Another random reward we should never get is a duplicate from using the keys. There are 100 variants I don't have and they decide to give me a card I already own which is converted into orbs which I don't need because I've maxed the card out many many times. Speaking of maxing card to infinity, I don't know how much of the same special effect I have for Magik. I thought there would be something different but nope. Same color, same every.

The most popular problem these days is not having a lot of ways to get resources .. i don’t know but i think this is helping marvel snap getting people to pay more to progress in the game which sucks : »)

It's just so disappointing once you have all series 3 cards. It took me like 2 or 3 months to get them and now it feels so hard to get tokens after the change and reserves just don't really feel fun to open 75% of time eh (icon text and credits) I hope they change it but they probably won't. It almost seems like once you get up there it's way harder to get cards

They could probably afford to give 150 tokens instead of 100, because even with the 23 you opened you'd only have 3,450. Sounds fair for 100 reserves. Or keep them at 100 and turn the useless tickets into tokens.
