This is so funny! Each state has their own peculiarities too! That particular thumb tack , we call a push pin!😂 I remember a friend from Tennessee used to call the water hose the “hose pipe” and a trash bag “a poke!” I love all of our differences along with all our similarities!❤

I'm South African 🇿🇦 so I grew up with British English - most of those words make sense to me 😃 , then people tried to Americanize everything 😂 My friends laughed at me for saying "Rubber" cos it means something else 👀
