  • FWIW, in FA, people would use CZARs as a hard counter to nuke silos because their massive size meant that if an enemy launched, the CZAR would block it, make the nuke detonate, and then cause the CZAR to crash - doing 10,000 more damage because of the CZAR's own insanely high air crash damage. Then some bright fellow figured out it was because of the fact that SupCom calculates the actual trajectory of every shot, i.e. it's not just art, those are all actual flight paths that check for collision with the ground, other units, etc. And THAT meant that, if you could shoot your nuke directly through the hole in the very center of the CZAR, it would actually pass through and fly on to the target. In SC2, Darkenoids can do the same thing. They're also much cheaper than the CZAR used to be. Still, fun to watch you get lucky with a wasp. The odds for that have to be astronomically small. GG

  • to be honest, soul rippers are a tad bit better in damage because they use all guns on everything. including air. but they can't attack wasps, Gemini's, or weed booths

  • Why don't you play Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance? The game still has a proper community in "Forged Alliance Forever" and you can get 6v6 games going any time. FAF has enhanced the engine by a huge margin during the years so the graphics will be better as will the performance. Just think if only the smaller maps were the size of this one and each faction had 3x the units/structures.
