Nah, I'm just fucking with you, lol. I have not listened to this Podcast yet but the one you did with your wife about your trip to get some "medicine" was really great. I really hope the benefits you mentioned keep on rolling on for a while. If it could get rid of my Tinnitus I would definitely do it. Unfortunately though, that's about the only aspect of your troubles it seemed not to help. However, please let me know if you do discover something that helps Tinnitus as you know how much of a nightmare it can be. Looking forward to this chat 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🍻.

    • @@caiotefu9856 I 1st heard about the ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT medicine when Shawn had Marcus Capone on. Since then I did a shit ton of research on it. Then, a year later when Shawn shared his psychedelic experience with all of us I booked my own trip. Pun intended! I went to a world class place just south of Tijuana. Coincidentally, another guy was there when I was too who not only saw the same episode I did, but he knew Marcus Capone personally through his best friend who was a SEAL and was killed in 2008. Anyways, I've been home a week now and let me tell you... It changed my fucking life. I let go of shit I'd been holding onto for 35 years! Blew me fucking mind. Along with the other guy I met while I was there. It DEFINITELY cures way more than tinnitus. I STRONGLY recommend the treatment!

  • I’m a Veteran and suffer from addiction from my PTS military experiences. I’ve been through rehab at the VA several times and finally have my life on track. It was hell and so hard, but I did it. Thanks a ton Shaun sharing your story. I feel alone in this disease at times and hearing your story helped me not feel the loneliness. I wish you all the best.

    • You got this my friend! I know the struggle all too well after 15 years of severe alcoholism and drug addiction. I am close to four years clean, and assure you it gets easier with time. The best advice I can give you is the last thing I was willing to try myself, and that was turning to Jesus Christ. I tried everything multiple times, and the only thing with lasting effects was my relationship with God. He has healed me, and taken me from homeless to productive business owner in just a few years. Fill your time with new hobbies, new friends, and most of all call out to your creator. I know it sounds cliché, but truly the Bible changed my life in ways I never could have expected. I will pray for you Ryan, and I believe you will win the spiritual battle called addiction. Once you realize the battle is spiritual you can use the right weapon to fight the enemy. Jesus is the only reason I am alive today, and I know that for a fact.

    • I'm in the same boat. Addiction destroyed my life but I never stopped trying, just like a Navy Seal. I'll tell you what. Sobriety ain't for Sissy's because it is hell the first year. It took me 7 years to get 1 year of sobriety. Never Never Give Up.

    • Congrats on sobering up everyone in this comment thread. There's lots of us out there. It's all about willpower, no addict quits unless they will it. Quiting was what truly got me over my troubles. You work on yourself to quit and it gives you the honest perspective to tackle the other stuff. The chemicals are just a coping mechanism. Godspeed

  • So the last time I watched Shawn Ryan was about the psychedelic treatment he did. I cheered him on, I cried with him, man is Miss Katie granite strength, and I learned so much. So before I turn this episode of Mike Drop on, I want to thank the Ryans and the Ritlands for all they do for our country and their brethren. I don't know any of you personally, but your commitment to authenticity, considering the clown festival in the WH, is so appreciated. It gives us all hope in an otherwise crazy society we live in. You may be humble and taught to be so, but we know your greatness. Gods bless you and thank you.

    • WOW..... Can't hate authenticity and accountability.... I'm glad you are still here Mr. Shawn. We need you I think more than you need us. Kind of selfish I know, apologies, but we need leaders like you and Mr. Mike to give us hope/ guidance and a good kick in the pants. What I don't get is why a community of highly intelligent Special Operators wouldn't have one another's backs? Why all the hate and drama. Seems that elite individuals such as yourselves need to contain the community you all fought so hard to get into. Again average civilians don't know the inner workings. We can't. But it would seem that the circle needs to be completed again and cleared of unhealthy motivations. You guys are far too good for that, given training, intellect and service.

  • My two favorite "shows". I only call them shows because of a lack of a better word. After well over twenty years doing interviews/interrogations (criminal, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, background investigations), these two guys are some of the best I have seen. The ability to lead the guest to what you want them to talk about but not leading them to the answer you want AND the ability to let them comfortably talk about what they want is something that has to come natural and not something that can easily be forced. Always great guests, informative content, and very entertaining! Great job guys!

  • Excellent podcast. I can identify with the addiction story very well. We've buried too many here in Louisiana for sure with a very similar story. The fentanyl is cut into the powders down here. Im in the music community here. I see more than i want to, i suppose. But lately it's a weekly funeral.😔

  • If Mike thinks we are overpopulated he needs to stay the hell out of big cities as much as possible. NPCs congest into cities, and honestly I'm fine with letting them. Sitting in traffic 1.5 hours per day or walking everywhere despite owning vehicles is not my idea of living.

    • The only overpopulation that’s happening is in 3rd world shitholes. All westernized countries are in a massive decline - especially anglos. There is more unmarried women than any time in history and wh1tes are way below replacement. You could fit the entire worlds population in Texas on 1 acre. The issue in the US is not overpopulation it’s unfettered immigration and leftist propaganda
