Pricing an online course can be a hard thing, especially when you're starting out. In this video I want to give you my framework for how to price an online course, so that you know what to shoot for and have a solid starting point.
If we want to know how to price an online course, we should really look at what type of course it is first. In this video I'm going to give you a framework to price three different types of online courses, so that you'll have an easier time to make your decision on what price you should have. But I also want to say this, that pricing an online course is just a matter of taking action. Don't let your course pricing stand in the way of releasing your course to the public. Use the framework in this video, apply it and then launch it. There is no reason that you should get stuck on pricing for your online course, its literally just question of numbers. Use my framework and then move on, you'll do great!
And if you think my course price framework is too bold or too upfront, then you are probably just uncertain about how your pricing is going to perform - which is super common. Before you dive into the video I just want to say this: you will never know if your audience approves your online course pricing until you've launched it and seen how it performs yourself. No analytic can tell you how it's going to play out, no amount of customer research can pinpoint exactly what the right price for your online course should be. You just have to set it and launch it.
How to price an online course comes down to two things: having a pricing framework with some guidelines (which you'll get here) and then you set your course price and you launch.

Good hide just one thing I’d like to point, you do need to be a big name to sell a 2K+ course. Keep this in mind and the sky is limit, literally. Don’t sell information or your time as there’s always a ceiling to that. Instead OFFER TRANSFORMATION. Then price tags of 2-4-10k+ are possible. My coach is it a big name yet he has clients paying him 60K to work with him. Get results for a very specific person on a very specific pain point. The more specific your pain point you are solving for a very specific person the more magnetic your message will be. That’s where you can charge the realm big bucks. 😎

I agree. I think it depends on what the course is about and the value it provides, but anything under $500 seems too low.
