    • Even if she treated him well, unless he is completely oblivious on her past, which seems impossible with him meeting the parents and seeing her behavior towards them and her brother, there's enough red flags to suspect how manipulative and crazy she is. Any man with a brain can see the ticking time bomb that is her mind and find the door.

But nope, now she’s gonna keep the child and abuse the fuck out of it and break its spirit so that the child feels forced into giving up it’s inheritance

    • If the parents want to they can contact CPS provide the mothers prior record and the text messages as well as character witnesses of hee bad behavior as well a sher obvious attempt to get money and have the baby removed they can also push for grandparents rights and such or even outright tell the daughter the baby will get nothing and thus have her abandon it and then it can either be adopted by the parents or by a loving family anything is better then with that train wreck of a woman.

      @Jaxrubygirl@JaxrubygirlАй бұрын
    • @@Jaxrubygirl CPS is a VERY mixed bag. You’re gambling with how these workers go about things. Chances are the abuse will happen for YEARS and the grandparents will have see if they’re allowed to visit the child in the new foster home. We’re talking about money large enough to pay for a child to go to college debt free. You really think the mom isn’t about to do the most insane shit just so she can legally keep herself ahead in the family? Maybe I’m pessimistic because my family has done that exact crazy shit and gotten away with it

  • The criminal charge didn't even remotely ruin her life though, she ruined her own life by trying to pin it on her brother, if shd hadn't done that, she woulda gotten off with just a fine that her parents paid off, she had her college paid for, she had her nepo baby high paying job, and if she had just been less of an ass she would have been in the will too, her own actions caused all of this

  • There was another update. Sister gave birth to her son, and I believe she demanded the parents buy her a new house in LA. OP’s parents offered to take custody of the baby _and_ buy sister the house in LA, however if she took this offer then she was legally disowned. As in legally, OP would be an only child and sister cannot use their last name. OP’s sister very quickly accepted this, and as soon as she got her new house she signed the legal agreement and dumped her baby on the parents. That was the last OP’s family saw or spoke to her.

    @grandparedpill2695@grandparedpill2695Ай бұрын
  • I agree with the OP. Sister's an absolute shithead but that's because the parents raised her that way. She's been brought up the golden child ofcourse she's going to demand that everything be done for her. I think the parents should have atleast tried to teach her to be a better person, given she was still a child and under their guardianship instead of just shunning her away immediately.

  • After we got to the Resteraunt I would have sat down with her told her not to talk and tell her about all of the things shes done and politely ask her the most genuine apology ever and if she denied i would say "okay" and leave the room and do it over calling if she still denied i would ask her for an apology when shes older so that shes more humble if she STILL denies i will simply give up. Thats what i would do.

    @BANANA_SPLIT-425@BANANA_SPLIT-425Ай бұрын
  • I'm glad his mother gave a more sincere apology. It doesn't make up for or undo anything, but it's far better than having that cloud over the relationship forever or outright cutting ties. She wanted to do better, and depending on the person and situation, she could be given that chance and work to be better.

The bare minimum of admitting you were in the wrong is not to be praised regardless, only a genuine effort beyond apologising deserves recognition, but telling your own kid the pregnancy should have been terminated is unforgivable. Inexcusable. There is nothing that will ever make up for being THAT mother.

Like the only reason they want to remain in contact with the daughter is cos they wanted grandkids but if the OP is planning to have grandkids this would be irrelevant. It’s not beneficial for the kid to be used as a pawn, probably better for them to be raised by the sister alone. Either she will learn to be responsible or she will have the kid taken away either way it’s better than being involved in a family war

Younger brother was the golden child he could do no wrong even if he did, he got away with it 🙄 he had got some whiskey, and blamed the older brother when cops caught him. He said his brother got it, and his brother was in deep trouble until they found out the truth. The younger brother had stollen the whiskey from the local shop when the truth came out 3 days later. the parents only then bailed their older son out. Oh he so angry and pussed off as they again had not believed him !! They disowned the younger one for trying to set up.his brother, apparently that was unforgivable to them. The younger one was charged with stealing, under age drinking, and supplying whiskey to others who were underage along with some other charges I can't remember !! This was in the uk. The younger one who was 17 was sent off somewhere, not sure where, but he was never welcomed back ever. Last I heard he joined the army and was sent to Northern Ireland. I have no idea what happened to him after that I'm guessing you have a good and nice family and are lucky enough not to be related to toxic cretins. That's a good thing. you're very lucky if that's the case 😃
