I know alot of viewers from my previous video were experiencing a concerning bug in regards to the despawn strat. While i cant definitively say what is the cause, through various test runs I created this video with the hopes of helpingsome of those having difficulty. As Always, hope you enjoy the video!

This video actually helped me a lot... Spent over an hour dealing with this bug and if i wait to go back in and beat the other mobs it often works.

I've encountered the exact same issue so now I just pull the boss, try to do the despawn strat. Eventually you'll have only the 2 adds or just 1 following you and not resetting, you can just kill them/him and then pull the boss, that way he instantly procs phase 2 of the fight. That's how I did it last 2 weeks.

I got it to work by using the pet pull method mounting up close to boss spwn and aggro assp. Works 1 in 3 times not sure what the defining factor is
is it still buggy i just leveled my prot pally to 80 so went and did it today and just did it normal and w/o a normal interupt its so annoying compared to my dk.
I just cannot get this to work. only got him to go to phase 2 a single time in like 100 attempts
had new one, i killed the both guards and went kill the boss and tehy both ressurrected but i could not target them lol.
yo this is video is dope, will for sure sub and check out some others later.. i did some testing too playing a priest with x2 healing specs for the "new" reset strat and ended up with some strange shit, i followed a asian priest guide soloing using the fiend holding the mobs up at the start and pull agro off the boss to reset, he often end u following me all raid and also ended up killing him without him phasing once, as all his adds reset, but boss was still on me, so i went with it and he got immune on 1HP and was not able to loot him, will try some new stuff after your testing. straight up killing him and adds is not pos for me as disc

I feel I have my best luck when drawing out the first pull so the adds/tigers can run as far away as possible, running with Thekal up to the platform when he's resetting and waiting right at the top of the steps to aggro the 2 adds before the tigers get back into their spot. Once I get their aggro I just run straight down and I'd say about ~33% of the time that way works for me.

now if u go behind tree or in wall he will grip you , you cannot do anything after wotlk but i dont know how u do this
He only grips in phase 1. Once you get him into phase 2 you can juggle back and forth like you used to.
