Escape Shot | Northwest Profiles

Northwest Profiles takes a look at the fun and approachable sport of disc golf. Disc golf, also known as frisbee golf, is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target; it is played using rules similar to golf. The sport is usually played on a course with 9 or 18 holes.
The Spokane area alone has around 15 different disc golf courses, with more available in the Coeur d'Alene area. You can start playing anytime with only one disc.
The Spokane Disc Golf Club says their mission is "Creating opportunities for community connection, competition, and accessible recreation through Disc Golf in the Spokane area."
