  • I have a Viking longship called the "Draugr" that I think would be a neat idea for your next craft. It's like the average drakkar Viking longship, with a mighty dragon figurehead and pronounced prow. The sail is adorned with the colours of Jormungandr coiled around a pair of crossed axes. The ship is 21ft long and 8ft wide, weighing in at a light 324lbs. The prow has spine-like protrusions that are meant for the aesthetic of the ship as I sail aboard it. The aft (aft=back) side of the ship has the classic dragon tail but with an axe in it's coiled tip. Shields from various sagas adorn the sides for a historically accurate look. Your son will absolutely love it and You'll be able to expand your building expertise to more ancient and seafaring vehicles. Overall: thanks for creating such amazing woodworking content and, if you get the chance or feel like it, try making a replica of my ship for your son. You hold him dear like any father would, and this comment would not only bring joy to his eyes, but it would also help educate him about how ancient explorers (like my Viking ancestors) sailed the seas long ago.

    • The fuels are just foe decoration! The tank run on electric motor. I'm glad you notice the kitty, too! It was a stray little kitten that came into our workshop and we have been keeping it since then!
