Can bleeding during menopause be detrimental? | Dr. Sanchaita Das
No menstruation (or commonly periods) for 12 consecutive months during late 40’s and early 50’s is termed as menopause. However, any vaginal bleeding during menopause is abnormal. It could be a symptom of Ovarian Cancer or something else as well. Expert Gynecologist's opinion is recommended in such a situation. Break the stigma and talk about any vaginal dysfunction with your doctor and stay ahead of the disease.
Dr. Sanchaita Das, Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Barasat, Kolkata explains further in this video.

I am 43 years old. For a month I am suffering heavy bleeding. I started Duphastan 10mg thrice a day for 3 days( phone consultation of a Gynecologist) but it doesn't stop heavy flow. I also feel stomach pain and sometimes chest pain. During lockdown I don't understand what should I do. I live at Kalyani. Please give some advise as well as suggestions.
