Step 1 - Don’t be broke.
I was thinking same thing
The broke part starts after you buy those watches 😂
Lol
I'm still working on that 👍
Adam: “Here’s a fun fact but I might be wrong”… 😂🤣
you can easily get a rolex 16013 two-tone in Singapore for less than $6500 SGD... which may include box and papers. And yeah, actually watch lovers can tell if it's a semi-vintage watch base on the design alone, lol. The white goal (stainless steel model with gold bezel) is actually a way more timeless look...
Gabe and Danny have such great chemistry with Michael! Awesome video 😎
Happy Jewelers and Seth are probably the best watch people you visit. All very Knowledgeable and seem like just good all round people. Speaking of Seth it would be good to see another vid with him soon!
Being able to maintain a collection is just as important as collecting. Servicing on a large collection is going to add up over time. Keep your collection modest, unless you have Michael's kind of money.
Just like with cars, don't buy a used luxury car if you can't afford the maintenance costs.
@@ElvenMans As a man with an old Rolex and and old Jaguar, I support this message.
Well when you have a large collection you can only use one watch of the time so service intervals will increase. I have at any given time at least 50 watches, I buy watches all the time and also sell. Sometimes I service a used watch I buy but very rarely I use a watch so often over the years that it actually needs service. I have a timegrapher to keep track of how a movement is performing.
You only service when there is something wrong. If good leave it alone. Too many people think they must regularly, you don't.
Not really, if you have a large collection you dont have to service that often becausee they don't all get worth that often. Many say you should service only when they stop working.
That Breitling for $3,300 is an amazing deal! Great video!
Adam is definitely a Panerai lover to know that they DID at one point use Rolex movements
Love Panerai. My favorite watch. Love their simplicity and durability.
iwatch better
@@shadowfilm7980 same here, if I could afford them they would DEFINITELY be in my collection
I see Happy Jewelers and Michael and I immediately watch. Love EVERY video with the bunch as they always bring such fire but are here for us too.
I have the Tudor Pelagos in titanium and I absolutely love it
I wanted a Black Bay, but now I'm leaning towards the Pelagos.
Entertaining & educational👍🏻! Thank you Michael and Adam for also touching on a beginner's collection😊! Lastly, a resounding applause to 'happy jewellers'. Regards, Fred
I like the mad 1, but i prefer it in the blue. The IWC top gun is a contender for me also. Thank you all for another great upload, it's always good when Happy Jewellers are involved. Cheers guys. Marcus, UK.
This video was excellent! What an excellent team of people keep it up Adam and Michael!
I liked the property tours and some of the good humour with Caroline and that she took a chance to accept some funny humour about pushing some into the pool in a way not too superising so she could get the humour aswell. Also some of the ways collector's buy and sell valued item's.
Thanks Michael. That's another awesome store you featured there.
Love the guys at happy jewelers you can honestly tell they’re genuine ppl ….
Also, I enjoyed this video more than most of the watch collector videos on this channel because it featured watches that most of us collectors can afford. Keep up the good videos like this please!
IWC and Breitling; my two favorite "reasonably priced" great watch companies. Fabulous video as always, guys. More watches, more mansions.
Ulysse nardin so good
My collection is divided into 5 chapters, like a book : the Heritage (2 pieces, chapter completed), the Memories (10 pieces, more coming), the Deep (5 pieces, chapter completed), the Fun (2 pieces, more coming) and the Special Occasions (2 pieces, chapter completed).
Good video idea. Ya bunch of good stuff out there thats reasonable. I did just realize that old cartier santos is sweet, specially the chrono.
Great and fun video. Thx a bunch.
Happy Jewlers are a class place. So is producer Mike. Great video. On my way to buy a watch from them.
I agree with this. You don’t need to spend so much for a great watch collection. Nothing over $8000. I love Panerai. My favorite. I have a beautiful newer Panerai, Due, and that cost me $6500. Even bought it at the Panerai store in Beverly Hills. Rodeo Drive. Brand new. They even gave me an alligator watch band too.
Happy Jewelers are brilliant and so helpful.
Hold out for that GT3 RS Adam. You are worth every penny to Michael!! Thanks for your efforts to Happy Jewelers, Michael and Adam.
Collecting is a journey, each of us should enjoy the process and the road to getting a grail. Starting from the first piece till that grail piece or pieces.
Great vlog 🇬🇧👍🏻love happy Jewelers those guys are awesome 😎
I decided to have a small watch collection and when I mean small I mean 3, apple watch, breitling, and a panerai. So satisifed with these!
Bought my omega seamaster 300 from them when I was on vacation from Texas, awesome experience very polite.
Nice video! We need a part 2!
It’s not an MB&F, it’s a MAD 1 Red, and it doesn’t have a 12k retail. This guy knows so little about watches it cracks me up.
That ulysse nardin is a crazy good deal
Facts!Looks like Patek
best deal not to buy anything
I wear a quartet of luxury watches that cost me a total of 8k US and I am more than happy with what I have. Here is my collection 1. Sinn 556i on bracelet 2.Tudor Black Bay 58 Blue on bracelet 3. Omega Speedmaster Racing 40mm on bracelet 4. My beater and my most worn watch is a G-shock GWM5610
That's why I love my Pelagos 39 ! 13:00 100% accurate description :)
Great video! Amazing deal on the IWC!
As always amazing!! From Portugal
I'm so happy I subscribed to this channel
I loved your videos we learn more about watches because of your videos plz keep it up buddy
Thanks for upload and share your experience A LUXURY Watch Collection video Take care
Thanks so much. These are around my price point and maybe in the future I can go higher in price❤
5I just wanted to take a moment to say how amazing your video was! I was really impressed with the quality of the footage, the editing, and the overall presentation. You did a great job of explaining the topic in a clear and concise way, and I learned a lot from watching your video. I also really appreciated the way you made the video engaging and entertaining. You kept my attention throughout the entire video, and I never felt bored or lost. I would definitely recommend your video to anyone who is interested in learning more about the video.
I want to start with a Hamilton khaki titanium-bronze! That is my goal. :) This video is nice and happy jewelers are awesome, really nice people.
The IWC Top Gun “Lake Tahoe” is one of my favorite watches out right now
I have the larger Omega Speedmaster Racing in this video, but mine has orange hands. Incredible timepiece.
I am in the market in search of a great watch. From this video I like the IWC Pilot Top Gun Edition. Although the collection shown on the video had good pieces, I do prefer more recent watches with a bit more modern touches and movements.
Love these two guys
Hi from Norway here😀 love watching you guys! You said during Covid that after covid you would have a contest where someone could win a trip to meet you guys.. and Seth etc.. When will you do this? Love.
Getting into a luxury watch collection is all relative but high level of entry - if I were to do it again, I would start with Longines IMO. Swiss made, Reliable, Looks great and under $2K for entry.
Most definitely, I have two longines, a hydro conquest bluea and a dress one, really great watches
Tuesday 11/14/23 Greetings from Orlando Michael and Adam! Love your content from around the world, I just watched the episode from Geneva Switzerland on the amazing Luxury Boutique, wowza! I watched the episode last night from this very store where you treat Adam to a very nice watch (after unceremoniously tossing his old black watch in the trash behind the counter) very decent of the owner to have gone Dutch with you splitting the cost, but as he said, you guys have certainly impacted his business. You have a great chemistry together, love your sense of humor Michael, Bravo and keep them coming.
Seen so many Producer Michael videos, just subscribed today!
Thank you for sharing 🫰🏻🫶🫰🏻🥂🤲🥂
The Omega Speedmaster! Aka the moonwatch is what I'm currently after
The black bay 58...What a stunning piece! Easily the best value for money out of the entire collection.
Tudor are great,i have the latest with the jubilee bracelet absolute killer.
@@DR-86 iwatch better
Adam is right! Back in the day Rolex did equip Panerai with their movements and at least one of those watches, the Panerai PAM 21 sells for between $150,000 and $180,000 nowadays and only 60 of them exist.
I really liked the last watch at the end
I'm gonna buy a Red Tudor Black Bay pretty soon and I'm gonna get it from Happy Jewelers hopefully.
I hot the bell a long time ago. No notifications of the last 2 videos for some reason 🤔 Great as always guys! ⌚👍
Just got a batgirl from happy jewelers last week! Great service!
I bought a new hesalite speedmaster older 😊model in the bigger box for £4100 in Fraser hart love it so much
That black IWC is one of my grail watches but would be twice that price here. So nice. I’d have the Big pilot too.
We need that video of Adam being gifted that GT3 RS that would be some great content right there
I would like to see a similar video with the brands Tissot, Seiko, and Hamilton.
cool video guys thank you
Some nice pieces - some great brands have lower resale prices and this can be used to your advantage in picking up some serious bargains. Breitling, IWC and Zenith for sure. There is also the advantage that an older watch will have some wear so you don’t need to be as careful as you would be with a pristine new watch. Guys this is win win for sure - enjoy wearing the piece from day 1 and keep a chunk of change in your pocket. Should you not get on with it you can pass it on and not take a bath.
Producer Michael and Adam, I love your videos! I would like to point out that the US Astronauts blast off with an Omega Speedmaster strapped on their wrists. Our counterpart, The Cosmonaut blasts off with a Fortis Cosmonaut Chronograph. I have a Fortis Spacematic Eco. It's my only quote unquote, luxury watch that I can claim. Thank you again for your awesome videos!
I laughed out loud when Adam called Michael a "magpie" as he was drooling over the diamond splashed Cartier....😜
it doesn't have to bankrupt you...but it will. if you have any addictive behavior watch out, no pun intended. I went from never wearing a watch, then looking at this channel when Adam would talk about G shocks, and now i have 50 G shocks
rip
Great content 💯
The MAD1 is actually retail for around 1k or 2k CHF and I bought a brand new one for a market price of around 5k CHF.
Nice collab as always 👍👍👍🍻
Ulysse Nardin..espiacially whoever is in the marine related industry! Used ones are fairly cheap and their design is just incredible!
This was actually reasonably priced Michael fair play for once 😂 and thank you
Great video guys
HI Michael, do you have any advices on the chronoswiss watches? are they a good brand
Great videos Micheal
I bought my first big boy watch a few year ago as a starter to my collection.....it was an original Santos Skeleton. Thoughts?
Great episode
Top video guys yet again .Pete here from Manchester uk
IWC ... BOOM!! Love it
I've strictly gone towards Hamilton and Tudor since I got into watches. I will eventually save up for something pricier but really loving my collection so far.
Get a rolex.
Is the new Rolex Explorer ll a good starter watch? Which dial is better for casual wear, polar or black?
Has Michael ever done a video talking about Seiko watches? (my favorite brand and one I can afford) Does he ever know about their existence? Lol. Tsarbomba also would be a good idea. Greetings. Great video.
Love your video's
Love The Video.
I reeeaally love omega speedmaster. One day, ı will have one.
THE PEOPLE OF INDONESIA LOVE U MICHAEL THANK YOU GIVE US INFORMATION
nice to see this dear michael.
Missing Grand Seiko
M. A. D 1 is not from MB&F. M. A. D 1 is based on a Miyota 8315, but reworked significantly by Büsser's. All MB&F movements are in-house.
Partially correct. It is a MB&F as max had them made as a thank you for all supporters of MB&F through a lottery system to purchase. So truly it is a MB&F.
Also not retail for $12k
Didn’t say what was Michael was wearing ⌚️ in this video? Great tour of reasonable prices of watches thank you 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Your charisma is “off the chain.” (Jewelry joke for you!) Thanks for the fun videos, and tips!
The Tudor and Breitling are damn good deals!! I can see a Breitling in my future 👌😊
I love my Breitling Superocean, wear it every day, it's so well build.
@@MathiasPrimdal well built for what
Navitimer A23322 blue dial was my first "nice" watch. Still my favorite in my collection.
@@staceygram5555 why waste money
Lol that Mb&f MAD 1. Good luck getting it through a raffle. And people asking $12000 for it is insane for a miyota movement. The mark up is crazy.
Love some of the ‘validation’ quotes 13:44 - ‘you could throw this against a wall’ Yeah ok 😂😂
Wow cool beautiful watches
Still my favorite KZhead channel
Happy Jewler videos are the best can we just Danny his own segment.
YESSS! ALL IS GOOD WATCHES. 😊😘💋
I don't have a lot of money and can't buy watches like the ones shown on here but I like the videos and nobody could do a better job at it. Only have a few G-Shock watches and all digital. I likely couldn't use and keep watches as shown on here working very long especially with a 100 pound jackhammer going or working a wood lathe machine and the normal work I do anyway. Anyway I still like looking and seeing amazing watches and never in my life would I have expected a mechanical windup to have its own generator to run something like LEDs in the watch. I always thought that mechanical watches would be a thing of the past. I wish I still had my first digital watch I got when I was younger. I'm sure some of the wealthier people collect retro digital watches but never seen any doing so.
Guys, ive missed it, but what is that model of a Rolex with a black dial? Where black Tudors are, I want that Rolex!
