As of December 2022, there is no longer a copyright for "Eleanor." There was a big legal battle between the copyright holder and Shelby, and the courts ruled that the vehicle cannot be copyrighted as IP. If they didn't include it, it's either laziness or not knowing about the court's decision (which could also be called laziness, because they didn't bother to check). Considering they have all the other Shelby bits and bobs means they have a licensing agreement with Shelby, so it's really odd why they didn't include the parts we all really care about.

They were actually still in court up until late 2023, the final articles that I can find about the lawsuit were from early November 2023.

@@ryanmitchell4426 Thanks for the update, should have known there would be an appeal. From what I read it comes out to something of a legal Tie. Shelby can sell their GT500's with parts that look familiar, but don't reference those parts as "Eleanor," because the copyright holder retained those rights. Thus begins the wink-wink, nudge-nudge game of having a car that looks like something everyone recognizes, but don't call it that, it's a Shelby GT500.

there was a massive legal fight not so long ago about the eleanor name and car design so that would be why you cant make one in game

Not implementing the Year One Body parts from Eleanor is such a bummer -.- if anything regarding licensing they should have named the parts just not like Year One as everyone does with mod cars and stuff and as long as those things are not sold for money = grey zone, no issue

I have a 1971 Mach 1 designed to be a replica of the 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds Eleanor car. I have also designed the 2020 and 2013 Shelby GT500 to resemble Eleanor from the Nicholas Cage version of Gone in 60 Seconds.

This car might be a better power build type of car, with the amount of grip it has on worse tires. I could be wrong, but it seems like that it might be better for long sprint races

The original Eleanor had Shelby Cobra 17" wheels. Many rim-makers replicated it, including Hailbrand. The paint is Ford Pepper gray and it is in some Forza color-sheets, with Forza paint codes.
