It always amazes me how quickly you can pick up on what chords or notes to play on guitar based on just the sound alone. I always have to look at some tabs or watch how people play, so if someone showed me a riff with a fake guitarist playing it I would be totally lost 😂 I hope to eventually be able to learn a riff by ear like you do but that’ll take a while yet…
Thanks Alina!! The chords are easy. But some of the solos, like the Progressive solo, were a bit harder and took a couple mins to figure out perfectly. Don't worry though.. You will never be fake like these fakey McFakersons!!!

As a beginner guitarist, I started guitar because of Stevie T. I first watched his fake guitar in commercials video and couldn't understand what he was talking about mostly but it was funny, I watch this now and everything looks fake (except the one at the end of course,)

Self-deprecating humor and possibly false humility is kind of his thing though, but I agree. I'm kind of the same way mostly because my knowledge in music theory is lacking and I'm more of an amateur I don't get paid to do it, I guess technically I've been paid to give lessons though that just kinda fell in my lap from normies overestimating my knowledge and ability lol.
10:40 That acoustic solo is actually legit. You can see they started at the 9th fret on the 3rd string and goes to the 8th on the 2nd string

No it's not, you don't even hear the hammer ons and pull offs near the end of that section where his fingers are moving erratically but its holding a single note.
@@whitneysmiltank You are just wrong, is not very loud but if you turn up your volume you can hear it, its definetly not a sustained note. Also regardless if the solo in the video is fake or not the original post is comenting on steve's fret positioning wich he did get wrong, the one in the video matches the notes, if you dont beliveme try it in your guitar.

the “its forty years ago today” guy is actually Brad Fitler, ex-football player, now coach and commentator for the NSW Blues, which is the team he was promoting in the commercial. it was basically saying 40 years since the Blues was founded, and they just wanted him to promote it.

Stevie, i'm sorry but you failed at 10:34. He is playing on the 2nd string, and does exactly what you did, but you played it on the 4th, 3rd and 2nd string. He is playing on 3rd 2nd and 1st. play the slide from 7 to 9 on the 3rd, 8 on the 2nd, 9 on the 3rd, 8 on the 2nd, bend the 10th fret on the 2nd, and play the 10th on the 1rst, and you'll get the same sound. Watch the neck. It's marked on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and jumps to the 12th. When you see the closeup he is playing on the 9th of the 3rd string. Obviously you know that and I didn't need to explain it, but you get the point. Best wishes from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Hi Eve, it's a Québécois add. I remember seeing it. And they don't have a France accent at all, rather an ''international French one''. Very common in French Canadian TV, because a lot of dubbing for English speaking series or movies are done by French Canadian actors. Best example, The Simpsons.
