    • That shirt incident although completely harmless, is the reason players now get a yellow card for removing their shirt during a match. It was his 2nd goal for Utd, his 1st was a penalty. He scored a screamer and quite rightfully celebrated with joy. Couldn't untangle his shirt, the ball came close to him. Still full of adrenaline after his big moment, he started playing with his shirt in his hand. The ref blew the whistle, despite it harming nobody and only being somewhat amusing. The FA decided such a thing couldn't happen again, and introduced yellow cards for the removal of shirts. They punish passion for the game. The rule writers are that sad!!!

  • He wasn't discarded by United. Despite his inconsistent form, he left to be closer to his sister from whom he was separated whilst in England. At Villereal he could provide her with more care. United fans could see his quality and hard work, as well as his big smile. His 2 goals vs Liverpool made him a legend. Even though he was a flop at United we were super glad he was succeeding so much in Spain and the FWC.
