  • Sorry Ariel but the Fury vs Usyk (or AJ) fight is not "just another fight" at all. It is a fight to crown for the first time in over 22 years an undisputed heavyweight world champion. It is the only feather left to add in Fury's cap, and the only real meaningful fight he has left which if he wins will cement his legacy as the best heavyweight of his era. I understand as an MMA guy you want to see this Fury-Ngannou exhibition bout - and Ngannou has a lot more to gain from it than Fury does - but for boxing fans and for Fury fans we really don't give a damn about it. It is not even close to being as interesting or valuable as the undisputed heavyweight championship fight between Fury and Usyk/AJ.

      @GregK97@GregK972 жыл бұрын
    • @@GregK97 That's right, however I'm not buying Fury's retirement narrative at all until he vacates his belt. Fury is smart and is using the retirement talk as leverage for a future deal. Everyone including Tyson knows how important and historic the undisputed fight is and I'd be genuinely surprised if Fury rejected the chance to take it when the opportunity presents itself.
