  • Hey Shane, Thanks for this video. I'm a new player and my first legend pull was a lava hound in arena 7. I'm have trouble with comps that include the witch and mage. When those units are played defensivly, especially during double elixir I have trouble. How would you play this

  • 6:08 The lavahound popped the pups and it pushed the inferno dragon out of range of the tower and re-targeted the knight. You were right about it.

    • its decent, nothing to distract mortar + rocket kills balloon + he had arrows for minions and log for goblin gang

    • Simon S. TV I personally use the lighting arrows variant in challenger 1 and I find it quite nice up against mortar. Tombstone is a good distraction against it because of the continuos skeleton spawn and I can put down lava hound in the same lane and use support troops behind it to take out mortar and have a nasty counter push (I try to avoid putting the balloon down unless I know they don't have rocket in rotation or don't have archers/ice spirit/arrows after a rocket)

    • Shane u are great,but rocket is 6 elixir balloon 5 and it does not die from it!lavaloon is easy win most of the times...I play guite a while mortar and I have experience

    • Also with lavalloon you should not care about distracting the mortar but building a 3 crown push!+if u have tombstone is mush easier

    • Simon S. TV with practice (I've been using since arena 8) it's quite easy, but I know what you mean. You have to have good timing, too late means it target the tombs stone itself instead of the skeletons.

  • Hey shane please try my new fav. bait deck! Knight, Inferno D, Gobgang, Gobbarrel, Princess, Ice Spirit, FIREBALL and if you use this deck on ladder use zap and in challenges the log :) It works perfectly for me! (even threecrowning Golem Players :D)

  • I use similar deck with the tomb stone instead of mega minion. It's usually an auto win vs mortar decks. Because tomb stone distracts that mortar forever

  • My deck is lavahound, loon, pump, mega minion, skarmy, knight, canon, and arrows. I have lvl 11 commons, lvl 8 rares, lvl 5 epics, and lvl 2 lavahound at 4300 trophies at the end of the season

  • The game doesn't care about troops that are in front of another troop. The princess tower attacks shadows. The megaknight has a bigger shadow than a barbarian, so it's shadow is more in front than the barbarian's shadow. That's why the princess tower will attack the mega knight despite the fact that the MK was behind the barbarian.
