@XxKidnoffxX3 жыл бұрын
@@ryracing3950 Silly rules the NHL put in place that if the player wasn't signed to an ELC by the start of the pandemic, then they could not play, even if they were on the team's reserve list. So his contract technically started in the 2019-2020 season, but he won't be able to play in games until the 2020-2021 season starts around December. However, what signing him does is it allows him to come and get used to the North American rink size, as well as start to develop chemistry with the team, work with coaches on development, and it allows us to know for sure that he won't be on a KHL team for 3 more years (the situation that the Wild have been in with Kaprizov, where he kept resigning in Russia for years). So he's here, and will be here. You trade a year of term on his contract for certainty that he will be in the organization for the next two.
