In my opinion Peter did not get the credit he deserved. Peter will always be the real legend to me as a Jamaican woman who grew up in the sixties.

They both were Deep and had messages for the multitudes. I was raised listening to them both so for me they were both genius in all the music they made, with that being said I get a message from each and they were both great at their Art so neither is better than the other but Both are Great.

Peter represents the rebellious spirit of a revolutionary , I see him in the same breath as Marcus Garvey, Malcom x , Steve Biko. Marley just appealed to the white market.
Peter Tosh was a badass. But no need to compare. They were both badasses.
