We are planning on house hunting next year but have been keeping an eye on the apps in case something really good comes up. The prices in cities in MI are also very high 😬
My hubby and I are currently house hunting and trying too sell are home. It’s stressful finding them at the same time. But I truly feel God will work it out in his timing. We also are trying for baby # 3 in a few months so yeah it’s a busy time. 😂😅 Praying yours goes smoothly.
We did exactly what you are doing right now, but last year. We were able to close on a home 3 weeks before birth, and We had to move with my parents for a few weeks while some things were being renovated. Definitely wanted to have my own space after giving birth, but eventually did and it was all worth it. God definitely has come thru with every detail 🙏🏽
Buying our first home next week! It's a flat, not a house (definitely don't have the means for a house where I live 😅) but I am SO EXCITED In France where I live it's a very long process, we visited the flat in December and are FINALLY getting the keys in 6 days... 😁😁😁😁🏠

Closing on our first home this week, market is crazzzzyyy. Its been 6 months of house hunting. Tiny house but in a great neighborhood and school district!
Your situation reminds me of what we went through last year (minus the pregnancy). We were in a rental for about 5 years and once we told our landlord we were wanting to move, she immediately gave us a date we HAD to be out of the apartment by. We had 3 months to find a house and we wanted to buy this time around, so there were a lot more details involved. Of course the market was awful last year and made it even harder. Ultimately, we finally found a house about a month before we had to move out. Since we had a limited timeframe, we had to compromise on quite a few things. The location wasn’t exactly where we wanted to be and we lost a few luxuries that we had previously- like a 2nd bathroom and a dishwasher 😅 But ultimately, we made it work, and after 8 months living here it feels pretty good. You can make anything work, just remember that. You can make it your own in time. You won’t get everything you want and there will be compromises, you just have the think about what’s *most* important and what you can probably live without. I was really upset about only having 1 bathroom but I reminded myself that it means there’s only 1 to clean and that made me feel better! I would love a dishwasher, but I can wait. It seems like a big yard space is really important to you, so maybe keep that your top priority. Good luck with the journey! ❤

You can sign up with USPS to get emails every morning with what should be coming in the mail that day. That way you can see if something important came, and also get a reminder to go get the mail. I love my daily USPS emails lol
37 weeks pregnant with my second and currently house hunting.. it has been 2 months. I work full time still and I have a 2 year old.. it has been emotionally tasking- both looking and the rejection. Also, feeling the urgency to nest while half my current place is packed and not knowing where we’re moving yet. Big test of faith.. God NEVER fails us though. So thankful for his provision.
Love your channel! You are such a genuine beautiful person. Don’t worry, you will find the perfect place for you and your family. I just had baby number #3 and we bought our house last year. Originally we were only looking at 3 bedrooms and in the crazy market the first 2-3 homes our offers weren’t accepted. I felt like it would never happen for us. We looked at one house in the beginning and loved it but the price was too high but came back on the market ( other offer fell through because the buyers lost their loan) we put in an offer that day and got it with a lower price ( it appraised higher so we came in with equity) because the owners needed to move fast since they accepted an offer on another home. 4 bd 3 bath with a basement and huge yard in NJ. So funny because I’m thankful we got the extra room since we just had our 3rd. It was an annoying, long, and stressful process but so worth it in the long run. I’m so excited to watch the next move for you and your beautiful family ❤ Good luck!

It took us many months of hunting, I was also pregnant with my kiddo and we actually put in multiple offers that weren’t accepted - so I can definitely relate to the roller coaster of emotions that comes in this journey. You build up hope and excitement each time envisioning your life in a new space, but in the end the house we finally landed feels like it was meant to be our home. I have lots of faith it will be the same for you. A few months journey now, but a lifetime of joy for your family ahead. ❤️

We’ve just gone through the EXACT same thing, except we had 3 offers that fell through and finally after a year, our house sold. Each time an offer fell through I just had to remind myself that God is in control of this and I can’t rely on my own understanding. It was such a hard time and I felt like a prisoner in my own home, with no idea how long my sentence would be 😩. But we were finally able to move at the beginning of this month and it has been such a blessing. God’s timing really has been so perfect. I’m praying for breakthrough for you guys!
Uhg had the same issue with mortgage, Greenstate, they were terrible communicators and we ended up switching lenders.

We live in Naperville and in the process of saving right now! Hoping to move out of state in a few years but love where we currently live for just starting our family and soon to have two littles. I know you mentioned wanting to stay closer to the city but I would highly recommend Naperville, Wheaton, Elmhurst areas! We’re on the very north end of Naperville and love how accessible everything is from the train lines to the highway. Super family friendly area too 😊

I live in Crystal lake, a 50-60 minute drive to downtown Chicago and I LOVE it. I love raising my son here, you guys should check it out!
Our real estate agent told us you can change the house (renovations) no problem but you cannot change the location and lot size! Also, with a small kid we had to take into consideration school district… wishing you guys luck 🙏
My husband and I are house hunting as well. We sold our house and now we are living with my in-laws. It's been a year and a half now but I know God has a plan for us! The market is so crazy right now!! Just stay positive and keep praying! That's what keeps me going lol

Gosh house hunting while selling is SO hard. We just finished the process in the fall and I can't get over how perfectly God worked it all out. Hang in there! He knows what you need
It really is, the timing has to be spot in or you end up paying double mortgage!

If it makes you feel any better you wouldn’t even get your current condo for under 850 in the suburbs NEAR Toronto. A house with your needs would be at least 1.1 - 1.2 million minimum
We are apartment hunting. We've got one little girl and moved home across the country because my husband got laid off from his job on the east coast. The place we are currently is where we are working now, but we are living with my parents right now. So we can't move to a more affordable city. 3 of us in a tiny bedroom and sharing the basement with my sister who is in college. We cannot afford 2500/month for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom place. It's absolutely insane. But we also cannot buy a house we are not in a position to make that commitment. The past 2 years we have not had a place of our own. My daughter has never had a home. We had been living in the upstairs of a church with no kitchen for the past 18 months before we got here to my parents house.
Aww mama what a rough situation. Reminds me of when my parents first came here from Romania and had 4 daughters in a row and we all lived in a one bedroom apt together. I pray for your husband finds a job quickly and you're able to move into better circumstances with your kids. Praying for strength over you daily as you navigate your situation

I am literally in this process but we are buying.. and im pregnant.. close to being due and we gotta be out our current place by June lol. But God is in control and I am trusting Him during this entire thing. I feel you on the frustration and trying your best to not worry and just trust Jesus.
