  • I'm genuinely thrilled about Khalid's visit to Brunei and the positive light he cast on the country. Just to share a bit about myself, I have Bruneian roots but currently reside in Beaufort, Sabah Malaysia. Now, let me share more about the wonderful things happening in Brunei to people who are not familiar with Brunei, and yes, I might be a bit biased, but the facts speak for themselves. Brunei is a place where cultures blend seamlessly, and Islamic traditions are proudly upheld. The mutual respect among people creates a warm and open-minded atmosphere, something I've personally experienced and appreciate. Education is a top priority in Brunei. They ensure that everyone, even in rural areas, has the chance to learn about Islam and beyond. What's truly impressive is that even the elderly in these remote areas can fluently speak English. This commitment to education has genuinely made a difference, and I've witnessed firsthand how it has empowered individuals, regardless of age or location. Brunei is actively working to improve the lives of its citizens. Plans to create more job opportunities and enhance living conditions are in place, and the application of Sharia law is seen as a way to ensure fairness and justice, aligning with Islamic principles. So, while I might be a bit biased with my Bruneian background, these positive aspects are not just my opinion-they are the facts. Brunei is a remarkable Muslim country that values its traditions, emphasizes education, and strives to provide a good life for its people. Khalid's visit simply reinforced the positive image of Brunei that I've always known. Sincerely from a Malaysian with Bruneian roots, have a great day!

  • I was born and raised in Brunei as a child of expats, and while I am not a citizen, I feel extremely blessed to have spent my childhood and school life there. There is admittedly not much to do from the perspective of a tourist, but the people of Brunei are an easygoing bunch, and Alhamdulillah, the country lives up to its epithet of "Darussalam." Your best experiences are the ones shared with the people, and that goes for any place you visit! Thanks for sharing this video brother Khalid!! If anyone's interested in travelling to Brunei, some of the best places to visit are already shown in this vid! 1. Kampong Ayer (literally the "Water Village") 2. Masjid Jame' Asr (or Masjid SOAS, which is my go-to for Jummah and other big prayers lol) 3. Gadong Night Market 4. Ulu Temburong park Other places I'd recommend visiting or having a look at: 5. Jerudong Park 6. Tasek Lama or Bukit Shahbandar (there are other great trails too) 7. Teng Yun Chinese temple 8. Seria Energy Lab aka OGDC 9. Any of the beaches, like Berakas beach :) 10. The Mall, Gadong

  • I visited Brunei last week and LOVED it! The people are so friendly and welcoming. I also found it to be very quiet. To tell you the truth, Brunei reminds me of Oman, as the people there are of the same nature. I’d love to go back and visit one day. Thank you for showing the world this video.

  • Jazakillahu Khair Brother Khalid for this beautiful video about our country Brunei. Yes alhamdulillah we are very blessed with Allah has been given us. Through all the negativity that we had from others, like you said, we stand with what we truly stand for and we only give nothing but shown kindness to others. That is part of our culture. We honoured our guests and thats what Islam teaches us here. Loving your content and hope to show to the world that Brunei is not what they think😍🥰✌️🇧🇳🇵🇸

  • This is one of the best episodes from Br. Khaled. The complete episode was giving me so much of joy to know more about Brunei. My relatives are living and working there in Brunei for a longer time, and they always told me a lot about their king and the people who are so friendly to them. Once again, I would like to thank Khaled and his team for presenting this wonderful video to understand more positivity about the tiny Island which is, the great Brunei.
