Beautiful look!!
Thank you so much! 😍
I think purples really suit you Lena. I love the finished look you have created with the shades, classy and elegant. I don’t normally purchase singles but I like the purple shade.
Hi, Talia! Thank you so much! 😍 This lilac shade is quite special and I love how soft and creamy it is especially for a matte eyeshadow.
You look delightful in the cool toned purple, it suits you so well, and of course again, such insightful and useful reviews and overviews, thank you so much! It may not be necessarily economical but in a way, I appreciate this as I don't want/use half the colors in so many palettes (however yes, I do much prefer quads/quints, etc over the vast majority of eye palette options out there with dozens of colors) so I appreciate the flexibility in selecting only a few colors I actually want in a bit larger of a quantity - I like this shift and hope single shadows become more available/common!
Thank you so much! I am just like you and rarely buy bigger palettes. I feel overwhelmed by them and I like to get a completely cohesive look using one palette at a time. But I am happy to see these singles cause they cater to different needs. Dior and Cle de Peau also have brought out their singles, so that is good!
Beautiful eye look! I'm definitely picking up the Lilas shade! Thank you for reviewing Lena!
Thank you, Miki! It is a beautiful mid-tone lilac and feels very creamy! I love it 😍
YEAH ME !! I get to wake up to a LENA video !! 🥰😘 the colors are beautiful on you !! Love the video !!
LOL Thank you so much, Ann! Love your positive energy and encouragement! Very happy with the shades I picked up. All 3 are great! 😄🤩
These look beautiful on you, Lena and I really like the formula!
Thank you so much, Eka!! They are probably the best matte eyeshadows I have! 🥰
So beautiful and sophisticated! I'm looking forward to your thoughts on the Dior's as well.
Thank you so much, Christina! I might pick up a shimmery shade from Chanel as well but Dior shimmers and metallics look impactful? LOL Excited to find out how they would compare!
Lena, I’m not a big single eyeshadow user either. But you created a very beautiful look with the lilac and black shades. Well done!! 😊
Thank you so much!! Lilas Poudré is such a gorgeous shade and I think I will get a lot of use of this creamy black shade! 🤩
Love the final look! So graceful and beautiful!
Thank you! These colors work well together and the formula is great so it was very easy to put together! 🥰😍😘
Wonderful. Congratulations
Thank you, Marian!! 🥰
Hi Lina. I very seldom use all matte shadows but love your look. I believe this shadows are nos available here in my boutique in Miami. Looking forward to get a few. XO😊
Thank you, Gloria! These matte shades are rather creamy and not powdery at all. I think you will enjoy them! 🥰
Thank you Lena. Beautiful look! Do you know if there will be new quads as well?
My pleasure. Thank you! I saw a quad-like photo before so I thought there would be, but no. Apparently, that is just 4 limited shades put together. But I hear the Tissé line will be reformulated or some sort of a relaunch is on the way!
@@lenallure Fingers crossed we will get some new color stories at that time.
So basically, Chanel and Dior stop selling the mono eyeshadows for a while and then put them back on the market at a higher rate. Same colors. Now everyone is buying them.
You're not wrong here! I did get a couple of mono shades (LE) from Dior but they are on a reformulation kick these days and it seems their current marketing strategy. Chanel was not restocking any of the singles for a while so I am rather glad to see more shades. I don't think the yare the same colors, though.
It's a crazy increase? 25% increase from Dior for what?
@@exomake_mehorololo I don't think it is a crazy jump. Certainly not 25%. I checked cause your comment made me curious - it was $32 each in 2022 and now it's $35. I've seen a Canadian KZheadr complaining big but that could just be the weak currency rate.
How does the Lilac compare to the lilac in Chantecaille turtle palette and in last year’s Guerlain lilac?
I do not know. Do you have the Chantecaille and the Guerlain? Please let me know how they differ if you end up purchasing Lilas Poudré. I would love to know! 🤗
I have the Guerlain but not the Chantecaille. I wish I got the cool palette in Chantecaille. The Chanel lilac looks a lot like the Guerlain one. I’m not sure if I’ll get the Chanel one 😆
We’re experiencing an interesting opposing reaction to all the huge palettes that have been on trend for so many seasons. Clé de Peau, Dior, Chanel, etc. are all releasing singles. I think people are a bit tired of over-thinking their eye looks and, IRL, most people simply don’t have a lot of time to spend on their everyday looks. Special occasions are a different matter, but for day-to-day, I think a lot of people want something effortless, yet polished.
I agree! Great to see these brands are catering to different needs and styles in makeup. Price-wise, single eyeshadows are not exactly a good deal, but if you get a lot of use, it actually becomes a very sensible choice. I usually need more than a few shades myself but these are great for auxiliary colors.
It's also just about the "new" plenty people who won't ever use them will buy them because they appear new and different to palettes. It's just Pokemon for adults
@@exomake_mehorololo LOL at Pokemon for adults! I have to agree with you cause makeup is one of my hobbies and I do think they have aspects of toys. So we can put them to use practically and be sensible about how many to have, etc. 😃
@@exomake_mehorololo LOL When it comes to makeup, there’s something about bright shiny newness that brings the kid out in most of us-me included and I’m 80 😃
