This collection of vintage ads shows how Stretch Armstrong figures have evolved over the years and how they were advertised around the world. Latex Stretch Armstrong action figures are among the raddest vintage toys and a firm favourite of the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and still today - with adverts to match!

  • In the 90's version, the Intergalactic Vac Pac in my opinion are my favorite characters. Would've been cool to see them have their own show :)

  • I had the original Stretch Armstrong, Vac-Man, and the smaller Stretch Armstrongs Scuba and Ninja. I couldn't remember Stretch Armstrong's nemesis' name, Vac-Man was really cool.

  • I used to have a stretch Armstrong and it disappeared and I was really upset because it was one of my favourite toys , my mum and dad insisted I must have left it some where but when I was older my dad told me him and my uncle got really drunk and decided to see how far they could stretch it and snapped it half .

  • I had an stretch armstrong for christmas, broken after 1 month of use(or less i dont remember), my mother claimed to the store and they accept the refund (she took another toy for me), looking to the commercial i have to say my mom was right, the ad is misleading, if you do what you see here with the toy youll break it very fast, "havent" been so aggresive with mine or just few times and it ended broken anyway.
