HELLO THERE:
We are Joe and Liisu, full-time travelers from Estonia on a mission to break stereotypes, show diverse cultures and wander in the magical nature. Joe, a seasoned traveler of 8 years, began his journey while working in Australia, New Zealand and Canada (holding over 25 different jobs). Liisu, a former medical doctor, joined the adventure 2 years ago. Now we live on the road, exploring the world either from our backpacks or in a van.
Living in Oman since 2009 this is definitely one of the most beautiful countries in the Arabic peninsula… And above all, Omani people are the most respectful and peaceful people ...
@@joemohammed4269 sorry bro... I'm an expatriate here ... Wish I could help you...
Welcome to Oman guys! as a local Omani I am really happy that people are starting to discover Oman , We don't have the numbers of tourists that visit Saudi or the UAE or even Qatar , we are a bit under the radar. But Oman and the government are really pushing forward to show the world what its really like over here , because we do believe that we could benefit economically a lot by investing in tourism. Lots of huge projects are being planned for the future , we hope to see anyone who visits us once comes again for another joyful times. Thanks for sharing our little big hidden gem country to the world :).
Hey hey. To us Oman was much more special than any other gulf country. And we are so extremely happy we had a chance to spend a few weeks there 😀
The new downtown in muscat along with metro train and Sultan Haitham city will definitely change the scenes.
@@junaidanwar999 they still try to keep it low-key in terms of architecture and sustainability of the buildings. Old - Modern looking buildings a mix between the two.. They don't want glass buildings and very tall skyscrapers everywhere it's gonna ruin the Omani vibe.
Brother I will come with In 1 weak.
Oman is our favourite destination !Never change it and don’t have too many tourists to take away the peace !
Thank you for visiting our country, the Sultanate of Oman, and we are happy for your impression and love for this country.♥️♥️Thankyou
Thank you too!
Indeed, this is oman. The first time I went to oman, I immediately fell in love with the city…
الحمد الله ليسى في حب فتا بتخرفك خرف
Hi Hariel. My name is muhammad from kenya. Can you help me find a job in Oman please?. i will appreciate if you send me feedback.
Yeah, that is true. Oman is a beautiful country, and the people are Georgeous and deserve to be visited. Greetings from Yemen 🇾🇪 to our neighbours' brothers ❤️ in Oman 🇴🇲
تحياتنا لك ولكل اهلنا في اليمن الحبيب..انتم احبابنا وعزنا وفخرنا 🇾🇪 ♥ 🇴🇲
Hello Yemen !
لايوجد فرق بين عمان واليمن جميعنا اخوة وعمان امتداد لليمن اخوة للأبد ❤️
As an emarati from dubai I agree Oman is great place with friendly people and it’s about 4 hours drive from dubai
Middle east is so amazing, people have no idea.
If you say so. Giggle.

@@paulciaro158 trust me its better than your west by at least 10 times
@@cyberyousef6405 Which part of the middle east? Which part of the west?
Haha, I wouldn’t say Oman is the only country in the Arabian Peninsula to visit, but I did LOVE my visit to Oman in 2022! The natural wonders, architecture, history and people are amazing 🇴🇲
Good job Love from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 And I like Omani people Great people Great personality 💖
Oman is a fabulous country to visit, with its mix of antiquity and modernity, city and mountains. Wadis and desert also. We ( two women) travelled independently and were impressed by the friendliness and respectfulness of Omani people. A country to return to. .
I love Oman and Omani people. Beautiful people and place ❤❤
Land of Sinbad...love from Türkiye☺
والله حن نحبكم بس ليش متحبون الكوتيين
I will translate; @trq7👆🏼 said why don't you love Kuwait people
As an Aussie I lived and worked in Sinbads home town of Sohar for 12 months its a beautiful country, full of history and the people are probably some of the most welcoming I have ever met. Loved Muscat, Niswa, Sohar, the mountains, the historic forts, the mosques, the food , the spices and the beaches are also amazing. The heat can be challenging in summer but thats no different from parts of Australia. The biggest risk I ever faced in Oman was the threat of being invited into the home of friendly locals and offered coffee and dates - the problem was that I didnt like coffee or dates. Honking your horn is frowned upon but actually abusing another driver can be a whole lot more serious and you may find yourself being visted by the ROP (Royal Omani Police). Mountain Dew was often called Omani Champagne by the locals they absolutely loved it - if you ever get a chance to visit Oman you should jump at it.
Thank you for your kind words. Everyone is welcome here. We hope you enjoyed your time♥️
Our pleasure!

Great travel guide, you could really write a book! Every episode of this series has been great and I can feel you both having a great time in Oman! Oman is really underrated, it’s beautiful everywhere and the people seem so friendly! Fortunately, we have your detailed introduction, which makes me want to travel there too! Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍😍👏🎉
Hey hey. Yes! Oman was like a breath of fresh air after numerous "futuristic" middle Eastern counties. We truly enjoyed it and will definitely make a few more episodes about this wonderful land. And also once against thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement! Last few months have been quite hard to us on KZhead and your comments always remind us that there is more value to our video than just the number of views. So thank you once more and we send all our best! Hugs Joe and Liisu
@@WildVikingTravels Hi! Dear Joe and Liisu, Please don't be discouraged! In fact, when I started watching your videos, you didn’t have many subscriptions, but I kept on watching, and now you have 100,000 subscriptions. You are already great! There is no problem with the quality of your videos. Maybe the country you went to did not attract many people. As long as you persist, you will definitely succeed! Take good care! Happy travels! Best wishes with Best regards, Gianni 👍🥰🙏
Can't agree more. I had the privilege to work in Oman for 5 years and love the people and it's culture, not to mention the amazing scenery.

I’m from Yemen and I agree with you Oman is the best country in the Middle East

No , Oman is just different even in terms of religion they are generally not Sunni Muslims nor Shia . They are like Mormons in the west not catholic or protestant .

You've got to be Scandinavian. Really loved the presentation. Your girlfriend's dry sarcasm....."Its HUGE. It tells the time.".....She often had me laughing out loud. Thanks for the adventure. SKOL. From Minneapolis.
Thank you for making such a nice video about my country and my city . You are always welcome in Oman.
Oh! thank you so much, I really love the way you described my amazing city Nizwa.. Much love, Khalid

I totally agree Oman is a very nice County, i've been there years ago and i would definitely go back soon! I have been also to Dubai 10 years ago but i would never go back there, it's so artificial!
That was excellent. Loved your positive vibes and your commentary. Very well done. Thank you for enlightening us with your experiences of the beautiful people of Oman and their culture. I hope more people become aware of its beauty and attractions.

I have been to Oman twice - the first time was to Muscat and the surrounding tourist sites including Sultan Qaboos Mosque, and the second time was very recently on the south coast in Salalah which I think is even better especially the surrounding areas, viewpoints and amazing beaches
Salalah the autumn season has the month of 7-8-9 it is very beautiful and green as if it is heaven

Thank you for a beautiful overview of the Sultanate of Oman .. its been home for the past 29 yrs and I love every day being in this majestic and serene country. May Allah swt bless this land with all His bounties . Aameen summa Aameen 🤲
Excellent documentary. Respectful vikings. You guys seem very at ease in Medina.
Happy to see you enjoy it ❤
Love it!
Me too!😄
You tell it like a poem or a song. Great. Thanks. I hope to come to Oman soon inshallah.
I really hope you get to visit, it's a wonderful country!
Oman is utterly fantastic, the people are incredible, but it’s so much better than this Vlog. You have the Musandam Peninsular, absolutely stunning. The Wahiba Sands with the only wild Arabian Orix, the Rub al Khali the largest expanse of desert in the world with red sand dunes as high as sky scrapers, but for me the best is Dhofar. It has monsoon rains every summer. Wadi Darbat and Khor Rori are my favourite places on Earth.
Couldn't agree more!
Wow very insightful and inspiring video! Makes me wanna visit the Sultanate of Oman ✌️❤
Go for it! It's a wonderful place to visit!
We really appreciate and thank you for filming this vlog that shows the beauty and the difference that Oman uniquely has from another gulf countries. thnx
اهلا بالجميع في بلدنا الغالي عمان ترحب بالجميع
I love being recommended to watch this series on Oman. your smooth and calm narration, filled with facts historic info, makes the videos so much enjoyable. I would suggest driving towards both the northmost region of Musandam/Khasab and the southmost region of Dhofar/Salalah for a unique experience that is not expected to be seen in a country engulfed in sand.
Beautiful. Thx u ❤
Our pleasure!
Happy we had you here in Oman I wish if I had the opportunity to host you for sometime at least.
Merci for the beautiful video

Loved the video. Thanks for showing the real beauty of Oman. You are welcome any time. You just earned a new subscriber from Oman 🌹.
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you about amazing video and welcome to Oman 😍♥️
I am glad to know that you like our country.. there are also many other beautiful places you can visit in OMAN.. Good Luck with your travels
I really liked your deep look and feeling about my county, it's not easy to reach the true feeling. I think you have come very close to knowing the secret of why everyone visits Oman fall in love with it😊
My pleasure 😊
Thank you so much for visiting Oman! I live in Muscat
Thanks bro
Thank you for another nice video, Joe and Liisu. A friendly reminder: Middle East is a propaganda term coined in the 19th century by a random barbarian colonialist in a colonial empire for their colonies in the Indian subcontinent. Then, in the 20th century, they somehow started using this term for another random set of countries. This term, which I normally even refuse to pronounce, has zero validity in geography, science, culture, politics etc. In the last few decades, through their media, they have been running smear campaigns on this concept that they call the Middle East and have been trying to indoctrinate us to associate this fabricated concept with wars, terror, backwardness etc. This is their way of manufacturing consent to run invasions, commit genocides, create unlawful domination and steal resources. I believe we all should refrain from using such colonial propaganda terms. (I am definitely sure you guys are not using this term for the same purpose.) I enjoy watching your trips. Cheers!
I grew up in Oman and went to MESS School! Such an amazing place!!
welcome you to Oman👋🏻 Really it deserves visit 👍 Thanks a lot for this video You gave me a chance to practice English by listening to native speakers besides to watching to beautiful places in my country at the same time. I am living nearby to Nizwa City as an advise to you and any tourists and visitors, if any Omani offers to you share lunch, dinner or even coffee in his house, don’t hesitate to accept his offers , it’s our culture and habits and of course you will be more welcome and chance for you to know more about Oman by contact to the citizens themselves, welcome you again Have a nice visit next time🙌🏻
Go to their countries and see how much they gone invite you to their homes and how friendly they gone be with you and how much free meals you will get just like most Arabs you are Delusional and ignorant about these people when they visit your countries and don’t answer me about that this is your culture and bla bla bla 😮😮😮😮
No matter what these people do you keep worshiping them 😮😮😮
Thank you so much, this is lovely video. I absolutely agree with you Oman is so different from Uae or Qater.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Qatar 🇶🇦 is still has character like Oman . Dubai is las Vegas reincarnated.
the calmness alone is reason enough for me to visit!
Thank you when all my friends were starting to go to Dubai in like 2014 i was always pushing Muscat
I would try visiting the Wadi Dayqah Dam. Stunning. The journey to get there in a 4 wheel vehicle is a must.
Welcome, dear, to the Sultanate of Oman. Oman is a wonderful country in which all the terrains and climates of the world are located. Respects and welcomes all cultures and beliefs without favour.By visiting Oman, you can save time, effort and expenses. There is a wonderful divine pluralism in Oman. All rituals, all geography, all inspiration were given by God. Extracts from every fruit, as well as from every orchard in the world' The marvel of the East in the true sense of the word. The seashores, the islands, the mountains, the plains, the sandy desert, the valley, the falaj, pure crazy nature, an Arab cultural heritage that has not, has not, and will not be marred by globalization and modernity, the enemy of man and the advancement of the idea. We rise with logical, non-obsessive balance, documenting the past with the present♥🇴🇲
Thanks for the tips!
@@WildVikingTravels welcome to you dear 💕
