2011-2012 was the best barcelona.They were unstoppable and they had world class players like Villa,Messi,Xavi,Iniesta,Alves,Fabregas,Sanchez,Puyol but they were unlucky in the second half of the season because of too many injuries and bad luck.It's a shame this team didn't win La Liga and UCL.

Pressing has evolved, now you find teams using the same systems that Barcelona were using to recover possession back in the day. They block all passing lanes, they don't move to the flow of the ball...they anticipate and close down spaces and opponents. Watch the video very well, you will realise that the teams weren't even pressing. They were just sitting back. It was the normal tactic for all la liga teams that used to face peps Barca.
@@rischio7678 teams were sitting back because doing high pressing was suicidal,if you did that you will lose 5-0.the only way to stop barca was parking the bus and playing very dirty football just like mourinho teams did.
@@juanestebankruhsanmguel1960 we all know that's not true. Sitting back against Barca and hoping to get a counter isn't a good option. They will attack you till ur defense looses focus. Chelsea did that and got lucky, that won't work for every team.

Kindly take note of the number of times marc terstegen has been trying to play long passes hoping it will reach a midfielder. Or how your former coach Luis Enrique was using his centre backs to hug the corner lines when building from the back. Teams press better nowadays. That's the reason why tiki taka won't win you many titles like it did in the guardiola days.
