Another container rollover blocking freeway lanes

Another container rollover blocking freeway lanes. Today's episode is yet another world famous Pepe's container rollover. Not sure what caused this one, but this guy must have been flying to crash land this way and block almost the entire freeway. All rollovers are priority but the ones that are blocking multiple lanes are even more so.
I was first on scene in my 50ton rotator, Hulk, and immediately knew I had to clear lanes ASAP. The easiest way to do this is just bring the container towards me. This helps in 2 parts. First, it opens up multiple lanes to alleviate the already backed up traffic. Second, it gives us a much better and safer working area. By moving this thing all the way to the shoulder, both my rotators are able to work this against the guardrail and away from traffic. I see too many local companies that love to just work a job as they see it, and not think of proper positioning of their trucks or think of traffic flow.
This can be extra worrying when they take a long time, and now you have a major freeway funneled into 1 lane for many hours. Luckily we had this up in record time, with our heavy wrecker up front able to tow everything in one shot as soon as it's up. No need to split anything or waste time, we all work in unison to get the job done quick.
You'll see from the 360 camera that I was moving super fast, so I couldn't do my usual narration the entire time but at this point, you guys already know we get in and out quick. Also was a pleasure to work this with none other than the shredder himself aka my dad LOL.

  • It’s nice to see a new addition to the company and you’re the type of person I would want training me because you’re kind of compassionate. You’re understanding you make sure that they know what exactly you want with help them. Understand what needs to be done later on and it becomes repetitive Josh. You’re an amazing man. Your father is an amazing man. Alex is amazing the wholecompany is amazing. Got the most pristine trucks I’ve ever seen and Mike must be absolutely thrilled to be part of your team and wish him all the best.

  • To me, this easily looks like a 10-20 thousand dollar recovery, perhaps more? Just consider... Your experience, your many vehicles, maintenance of the rigs, fuel, Cost of California requirements, payroll, maintenance, business property, general overhead cost( insurance, workmans comp...) maintenance, 24/7 availability, etc... You get the point. My brain hurts🤯pondering all the cost to operate such a business like this. You folks are badass, as well an incredible asset to our public transportation.👊🏼👍🏼💪🏼🏁 Just sayin', you know.

    • You take good care of your dad. He's living on borrowed time now, so don't give him up without a fight. As a dad myself and almost 68 in June, I help my son with his aeration business and love it. He's my best friend and we seem to enjoy each other's company. He does try to do the heavy stuff, but of course I do my share. Don't know how to not do that.

I think usually you use one of the special blue-coloured container shackles on each corner but this time you used a synthetic sling on one corner.
