When Steve asks "where are we going?" and Bucky responds "The Future" that is definitely a foreshadow to The Winter Soldier and both of them being the two people from back then to come to the modern era
Human Torch could be a nod to Chris Evans playing him in the Fantastic Four as well?
Sean Plays it is
Kinda, but it's not the same character, the Fantastic 4 one is from modern times, while the original is an android from the 40-ies. They actually used his body to build vision in the comics afaik.
Sean Plays lmao it was the original Human Torch not the Johnny Storm Human Torch
ummmm actually it's not the same human torch since the one in this film is an android, totally different character, except in powers and super-name. *snort snort*
Maybe not the same character , but still a nod to him having played A Human Torch . Also , since the 40's original was actually an android , should he be called a " Human " Torch ?
I find it funny that he's wearing a star labs shirt while covering a mcu movie
Sweaty Decisions haha
FLASH!
Chris Evans was born to play Captain America
Neither Realms its sad that the next movie is probably his last...
@@KlintKaras u mean avengers 4?
Little Historical Easter Egg here: the super solider serum changes Cap's eyes from hazel to blue in a reference that "Aryans" were the most genetically pure. So they turned Cap from a scrawny kid into what Hitler thought was the perfect human.
When did his eyes turn from hazel to blue? I thought the salient (though subtle) point in having him open his eyes wide like that was a call back to the 1970s Banner to Hulk transformations. As we know, the super soldier serum (some version of it) is what made Banner the Hulk (which is a pretty cool connection there for Cap and Banner).
D.C. SHIRT IN MARVEL VIDEO!!!!!!
Anurag Chemakurthi S.T.A.R.S
Anurag Chemakurthi lol why not
Anurag Chemakurthi And?
Triggered?
It's treason then
Captain America the first avenger is one of my favorite marvel movies
ObiwanMchighground i loved it too! I don't understand why so many people are down on it
Me neither
I love it too. The final fight between Cap and Red Skull is the only thing I don't like. It's kinda lame compared to other movies. Hayley Atwell is just perfect.
8:54 thats a scene from thor but it says avengers age of ultron
camden sparks ok Camden sparks
No, It's actually from Infinity Saga
Yea but it’s whatever
@@cbrrsyt goteem
"When Captain America throws his mighty Sheild!"
"All those who apose his shield will yield!"
Or a bomb
Or a brainwashed buddy
or a spiderman
Then you don't necessarily have to yield!!
The Captain America trilogy is simply Amazing!!!!
ikr?
Soo hyped for infinity war!!!
One i want to see it day it comes out
Smarthead's Gaming me too
Watching tomorrow
Soooooo... how did that go?
@@pictalk1721 ENDGAME WOOOOOOOOOOOO HAHHAHA
Forgot to mention that the costume Cap wore when rescuing the soldiers is a nod to the Ultimate Comics costume.
oo!
Whoa didn’t expect to see you here
Reb Brown played Cap in the 1979 tv movies. The 90's movie Cap was Matt Salinger
and for anyone wondering: yes he is related to JD Salinger. He is actually JD's son.
Thanks, RSFKannon. Glad I'm not the only one who caught that mistake.
1:44 Strucker Can Also Be Seen In Captain America:The Winter Soilder In the Post Credits Part
Captain America! AN ARTIST?! That sounds Awesome.
Fun fact: Before he went into an acting career, Chris Evans himself considered becoming a professional painter.
When he is getting beat up in the alley he says, “I could do this all day.” He also says that at the end of The First Avenger and at the end of Civil War
1 other nod is redskull taking his mask off but his mask is of a human face instead of the red skull face being the mask
vibranium can absorb vibrations to then release them, that's how the shield is able to bounce
Forgot to mention the blueprints for Zola’s body 😉
Yes! In the scene where Cap saves Bucky!
On your left *running*
I'm also really enjoying rewatching these movies and I didn't think I would. But they've aged well, esp this one!!
Talking about a marvel Film while wearing a Star labs shirt, Dc Shirt
That piece of hair on him had me thinking there was hair on my screen smh 😂😂😂😂
I honestly can listen to Sam reading the telephone book 😂
ikr?
@@feanor411 what's a telephone book?
@@victimology7761 oh it's this thing short people used to sit on.
Forgot the part where Bucky initially gets kidnapped and they briefly attempt to brainwash him until Cap gets him out
I find it interesting that your wearing a Star Labs shirt when your doing a marvel review
I love this film, never understood why it was never received that well
Now Red Skull is in Vormir
Could of shouted out Natalie Dormer giving Cap a kiss
12:52 Martin Salinger played Cap in the 90's film Reb Brown played him the 1979 tv movie.
Matt Salinger, not Martin.
@Sambashor your slowly becoming my favorite newrockstars member
3:40 Oh Snap I didn't even see that! That's awesome
I love this guys humor, great videos honestly
Yes this MCU rewatch is amazing! Keep it up!
I love this movie. It's so underrated.
To be fair, Triplett said his father was "a Howling Commando". Gabe is the most likely choice due to the race and Tripp calling himself "Jones" once, but it could actually be any of them.
WhiteRaven696 I think it was something that Kevin Feige confirmed
Doubt it. Feige hates the TV side something fierce, and he was only ever involved with Agent Carter.
love the Cap movies
Fun Fact that you totally missed. When Red Skull gets his hands on the cube, he mutters 'the Fuehrer digs for trinkets in the desert...' I took that to reference another movie set at that time, Raiders of the Lost Arc. After all, the Nazis were digging for the Arc at this same time.
8:50 um not avengers age of ultron...
Though I was the only one
I love the rewatches
Awesome Video
Another outstanding video ❤️❤️❤️
The shield bounce is science approved! Good video
Brilliant review
MY FAVORITE KZhead SERIES RIGHT NOW
No mention of Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell) as the temptress private or Jenna Coleman as Bucky's date? Great video, tbh.
Lool I love his silent “yaaaay”
Love this series!
This was great!
VERY COOL - Redlettermedia
I Love these episodes
More importantly, that piece of hair.
ikr?
The thing I find interesting is how in the 1st Avengers movie, Captain America tell Stark how there's always an easy way out for you isn't there?....and in this movie, Steve takes the easy way out of capturing the flag on the pole by simply pulling out the bolt and taking the flag once the pole hits the ground
Red Skull never died, he grabbed the Tesseract and he was teleported to the planet Vormir (Beam Teleportation) where he is found in Avengers: Infinity War. Later to be found is that he's the protector of the Space Stone (Infinity stone inside the Tesseract) But due to the upload date of this video, you couldn't have known that. But you've probably seen Avengers 3 and know that by now (that makes a lot of sense). This comment was for nothing, but I still commented it.
Great video
Cap from the 90's movie was Matt Salinger, Reb Brown was Cap from the 70's TV movies. LEARN YOUR ACTORS!!! Otherwise enjoyed the vid and actually saw an Easter Egg that I missed from my re-watches of TFA. Thx.
The last one was mind blowing!😬
Ok, so in Civil War we hear Zemo say to cap "there's a little green in the blue of your eyes" Could that be something towards the serum? (perhaps not but when he mentioned the green in Bruce's eyes, I couldn't help but think)
Love your shirt 💯
He is doing a Marvel video but wearing a DC shirt.🧐🧐🧐
Were is ERIC VOSSSSS
Love the D.C Comic shirt while making a marvel vid
I watched this movie 10 times before this vid and I’m commenting before watching
he's so sarcastic I love it
agreed wasnt great the first time but now its my fav marvel movie
actually reb brown played cap in the 70s matt salinger played him in the 90s also apparently eric allan kramer has a cameo in thor and lou ferrigno has a cameo in the incredible hulk so all the retro avengers have mcu cameos!
Love the shirt
The video was good
That car is really cool.
Captain America: The First Avenger’s HYDRA’s uniforms look so cool the one’s when they are completely covered (like with the Gas Masks) are my favorites (The ones from Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. are also pretty cool) they look a little like Dementors from Harry Potter
Thoughts on the nod to the comic Cosmic Cube in the opening scene? The clear crystal like cube that Red Skull picks up from the tomb before finding the real Tesseract?
A little late, I know, but Matt Salinger, who played Steve Rogers/Captain America in 1990, was NOT in Captain America: The First Avenger. I wish he had been. It would have been a nice nod to the little Cap movie that couldn't. According to a GQ interview, he did let the production team know he was interested in a cameo, but they never called. www.gq.com/story/matt-salinger-interview-captain-america The 1970's Captain America, Reb Brown, also wanted to make an appearance in The First Avenger, but was publicly unhappy about not being included.
Not sure if this is canon, but i've always thought that Steve finding Bucky being experimented on is the start of the winter soldier program, and the reason Bucky survives the fall. There is stuff to suggest this around the room.
SUPERSANK Bucky is also rambling the phrases that sets his programing....I think..?
Mr paul 352 I think he is repeating his name, rank, etc. bc that's what soldiers are trained to do if captured and brainwashed?? Idk
SUPERSANK after re watching the winter soldier, cap mentions this.
Awesome channel. Love your German pronunciation
I love how you’re wearing a DC shirt during a marvel video
NICE
8:50 totally avengers age of ultron
Love ur shirt
Keep it up
I didn't know that the actress Laura Haddock was previously spotted in the first Captain America film. But I do know that there are a numerous actors who played different characters in the MCU (even through the shows).
Nice shirt!!!
I love your shirt
What about the pictures that Red Skull is holding when we 1st meet doctor Zola, those pictures look a lot like the murals that are on Morag in Guardians of the Galaxy
Fun reveal from infinity war, red skull on Vormir
i love the star labs shirt
Reb Brown from the Stan Lee cameo played Cap in two 1970s made-for-TV movies. Matt Salinger played him in the 1990 disaster.
Love your Star Labs shirt Sam
Andrei Deuda Wearing a DC shirt when talking about Marvel, classic
For anyone who didn’t know, he mistakes himself at 12:50. Reb Brown played the 1979 Captain America whereas Matt Salinger played the 1990 Captain America.
Happy 10 anniversary captain America (2011)!!!!!
I live in the city where they filmed that submarine scene
yes
That star labs shirt😍
Nice t-shirt
You could hear the Will Helm scream at one point in one of Cap's fights!
I'm so early
I love that he's wearing a D.C. shirt in a marvel movie
I love that he's doing an MCU video wearing a shirt from DC comics... lol!
The Actor who played Captain America in the 1990’s B-movie is Matt Salinger. Reb Brown played Captain America in the 1979 Captain America TV movie and the sequel. The actor who is sitting next to Stan Lee during Stan’s cameo appearance is Not Reb Brown or Matt Salinger. He is an uncredited actor.
My dad has the original captain America no. 1 issue from the 40s. I thought the captain America first avenger movie followed that comic book more than the other captain America movies did.
It was also the longest comic book I've ever read out of my dad's comic book collection
When Zola is leaving quickly u can see a blueprint of his suit from the comics before he shoves it into his satchel
