I figured out the card trick: the dude has a fat stack of cards that he’s holding horizontally between his pinkie and ring finger. He quickly flips them to make them look like they came from nowhere, and then he drops a couple cards from the stack to make it look like each time he dropped some was a whole stack, but in reality he kept dropping PARTS of one stack (more specifically, the couple of first cards on the stack) and he flips the rest back into his pinkie and ring finger to make it appear as if they’re all gone. Then he pulls them out again and only drops a PART of them and puts them back between his fingers.
Thankyou for this 😅

thing is, most thieves actually don't really like human interaction, simply walking up to one and saying "what are you doing" is enough to scare most of them away.

@@chefscorner7063 All objects fall at the same speed regardless of mass, unless of course you drop a sheet of paper with a really high air resistance.... in this case however, with that weight and shape air resistance is negligible, you can go ahead and calculate everything ignoring friction, the difference will be a few milliseconds between dropping that rock and a wrench... just my 2 cents Edit: If you plan on throwing that rock into space and try to hit an asteroid with it you may want to add mass and friction though

The depth of that hole the rock was tossed down escalates my fear of heights, holes, and darkness all at once.

This was the best Daily Dose in awhile. A lot of these got me going, lol
The card trick was slick. You can't see it real time, but each time he "throws down the stack of cards" he only throws about 1/3 of them. Just enough to look like he tossed them. The remaining stack goes between his pinky and ring finger and is hidden behind his hand for the next iteration. Cool trick.
Yeah, I thought it might have been video editing, but you're right. If you're watching from a computer with a keyboard, you can pause the video and use the < and > keys to move frame-by-frame. You can see him slide part of the cards between his fingers, away from the camera, and drop the rest each time.
Thought its between ring and middle finger, considering the starting weight and numbers of cards. Your version makes more sense tho. Still, his sleight of hand skills are just beyond human haha
Note the ♣10 You'll find that card remains until the end.
Damn that was cool.
Youre right. I slowed it down too because i thought it was editing at first. But you can see the number of cards decrease and the faces of the cards remaining each time he brings it back up. He got that sleight of hand down.
Fun fact: the owl eye "ball" is actually not a ball, but rather a tube. They cannot rotate their eyes for this reason, so they compensate that by being able to rotate their heads in any direction
That’s an interesting, fun fact thanks
Another fun fact: Amphibians are the opposite. They cannot turn their head side to side, so the compensate by having widely spaced, highly mobile eyeballs!
And then there's humans. Can't do shit without your body crying for help.

@@stacypowell8235 well if you’re in a crowd and hear someone yelling about pickpockets and turn to see people running and covering their faces you’re gonna know who they’re talking about
@@GippyHappy Sure but the reason they did that (instead of acting calmly) is that potentially millions of viewers watching the video would all see their faces. The viewers would know it's them (even though they're acting like everyone else) because the camera is pointed directly at them, continuously following them. By covering it, the 20 or so people around them are able to identify them as the pickpocket, however the millions of people watching the video can't track them down or recognise them.

0:49 that Newfoundland dog got me dying lol 🤣
Hi Daily Dose, here's the explanation you looking for: The card trick is a sleight of hand trick, he shows a portion of the deck, you see the cards, he throws that portion of the cards to the table, after that he still holds the leftover portion between his ring and middle finger, hidden behind his palm. He takes out some cards with some really nice hand movement, and repeats the process until he runs out of cards. This is why the number of the cards gets less (and never repeat) in the end also. You can see this in 0.25 speed. What is impressive beyond the illusion tho, is how fast and smooth he does this in normal speed, truly impressive. Sorry, and captain flies away
That’s so cool!
Yeah, he's pretty smooth with it. I was impressed.
I thought it was edited because i swear i saw his hand glitch. Maybe not though
and to make the trick much more impressive, the cards he use are much thinner compared to the ones you are familiar with. so the cards can easily be folded behind the hand and easier to grab onto them with the edges of the cards. but you definitely need a lot of practice to become this smooth.. years of practice
You didn't explain anything. You just described what everyone saw in the clip
1:17 that cat really got me 😂
the cat was literally in pain
Lol
@@skeleton819I bet your sooo funny at parties 😐
@@cherri5222 yeah sorry but sometimes truth has to be told

1:42 "Fool of a Took!"
Throwing a big rock down a cave shaft is a terrible idea. You might hit someone exploring down there, or wake up a cave troll or goblin hoard.
Or get yelled at by a wizard
Disturb the lizard people
2:14 bro that's actually impressive
The poor ant down there at 1:52 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Or Wile E Coyote
Imagine living in this hole for years and suddenly random rock deafens or kills you
a Chewkz reference, perhaps?
turn on captions the when the rock hit it will say thank you lol
It’s the weave part for me that got me cracking up 😂
That guy with the cards said: i can do this till morning
I love how thieves and scammers get mad when you call them out. Like YOU'RE somehow the jerk.
You’d be shocked how many times those scammers that call get mad about people who mess with them. It’s like… dude, you called to try to deceive me- why are you mad?
when they are actually human scum...yea, I don't understand how
Considering the rock at 1:42 took more or less 8 seconds to hit the ground, that pit is more than 300 meters deep. Didn't account for speed of sound coming back up, but I think that would be negligible
Actually, the sound had to travel for ~0.9s and the rock fell for ~8.85s, meaning the actual depth is around 310m/1020ft. Good guess!
That is the comment i have been looking for, thank you
Deep enough to get the attention of the orcs down there.
@@lobbyhoe-01why so passive aggressive? “Good guess!”
Yeah, I figure about 1200 feet. At that distance, the sound would take about a second.
“Meow…… MEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW” Truly an inspirational moment
that cat making biscuits omg that was so cute XDD
