gaga has always been awesome. i remember when she started getting more well known and people hated her for the outfits she wore, but she was a turning point in pop music back in 2009. she changed the way pop girls behaved in public, she broke a lot of the stigma. i'm not saying she was the first, we have cher and madonna as well, but in a time where the pop culture was so tame and prude, lady gaga changed the game for the better.

I think she was bullied as a youngster and felt that she had to be outlandish to hide her insecurities? I used to think that she was way over the top but now I just love listening to her voice. It's pretty incredible. If I was 40yrs younger I might appreciate her outlandishness.
