Holy F! My eyes immediately teared up the second Jimin hit that super high note in Truth Untold! And Zero O’clock? (especially that high note he sang with Jin!!!) Wow!!! I just adore everything about Jimin! Since day one I’ve been drawn to him like a magnet! And to think he didn’t have the benefit of vocal training as the others did! I swear to God he’s an angel! So ethereal, effortlessly beautiful - fascinating!!

15:12 the whole concept of the masks and the album love yourself : tear were heavily inspired by two works: for "singularity" in particular - the book "confessions of the mask" (as rm said himself. it's a japanese book about the experience of a closeted gay man in a homophobic society) and this song, "truth untold" was inspired by a legend "la cita de smeraldo" (about a man living in a castle who fell in love with a woman that was coming secretly to his garden and stealing flowers. because of the way he was treated in childhood, he thought that he was ugly and always wore a mask and didn't leave the castle. he started growing smeraldo flowers just so the woman would come back so he could finally find the courage to tell her how he feels but one day she stopped. later he found out that she was selling the flowers to make ends meet and that she died.) they just made the song gender neutral which is very in their style and sang so beautifully that it literally hurts.

In their last tour, They performed The Truth Untold right after Epiphany from Jin. It was so Hard hitting and emotional, everyone was a mess at The concert. From those three songs, House of Cards is my favorites. I tend to like dark songs more and I loooooove the soundtrack suspenseful vibes of that one. But the Truth Untold is pretty high on my rank. I'm just glad you decide to go though this Journey!

100% and I love all their voices and individual contributions to this group.. but it’s hard to not realize how unique and special his harmonys and adlibs really are. It’s not just always doubling or generic… and something that just always shows how live his voice always really is… is that he actually adds new adlibs or plays with how he does a specific adlib all the time…. He doesn’t just always make it the same and that variety just always sticks out to me… and it’s pretty rare to hear the others do adlibs like that or as often.. but they all have their specialties.. ya know. It’s one of the most solid parts of BTS… they’re all exceptional artists and people…. And they each are good at most things but shine in certain aspects of performance or making music.. each essential to their success… but I swear jungkooks live vocals are underrated af in this fandom lol ppl tend to assume high notes are Jin and jimin or low notes are tae… and half the time it’s jk lol he does so much behind the scenes to continue to grow and really pours his heart out in their music and especially in stage… I just wish more people shared that appreciation for what he does.. but maybe I’m just being sensitive about it lol they’re all incredible and truly just a once in a lifetime group of young artists. I’m so proud to be an army!!!

JK's vocals are just perfect. That's why he is one of the best singers in the world, and not just in KPOP. When he sings live he looks like he's not trying at all. His high notes are on point, very beautiful, clear and smooth, it doesn't sound like he's screaming on mic, lol and his face is relaxed. His harmonizing and adlibs too 💜 I like V's voice too, his voice is so unique, I love them all but these two are my fav. hehhe
Jin has the least lines since they debuted but i am still glad that whenver it's his part, they are great lines. I dont mind JK having most lines since he's the main vocalist and the center. I am just also happy that at least they have their solo stuff so they can do a whole songs alone. They also said who fits the line more will get it, doesnt matter if one will have very few lines as long as the song will turn out great, i mean, that's love for music and teamwork. It's like a sacrifice they dont mind to make because they trust the output and each other. ❤️ Because at the end of the day, it's a BTS song, not JK's nor V's nor Jimin's nor Jin's. 👌🏻✨🫰🏻

U get the meaning well, but not the story behind it: *1500-1600, Sicily, Italy* _An ugly man for an illness, received a lot of humiliaton for his face, so sad and hopeless for believing being ugly, wore a mask and hid in an abandoned castle. The only thing that made him happy were the flowers, so he had the castle full of them._ _One day, a girl took some flowers of his garden, and, him noticed it, angry, did survillaince all night, but fell asleep. So, the girl again stole some more._ _That act happened a days more, but the ugly man start having interest for her, and waited for the girl pretending to be asleep. And he realized that her was stealing his flowers for survive, making him feel so bad for her situation, he wanted to do something for help, but was afraid of her reaction to his ugly face and she scared turning away from him for it. The only thing he did was keep letting her steal the flowers._ _Excited, the man began to plant more flowers, but he wanted to create an unique and special one only for her, and he did, starting to fill his garden with this beautiful flower. Gaining the courage for telling her his feelings face to face._ _But she never came back._ _With his heart full of illusions, he found out that the girl died days ago. Sad and broken, decided to call the flower SMERALDO, which means "THE SINCERITY THAT DOESN'T REACH ITS DESTINY."_ During all the song the story is in it, the garden, the castle, the flowers, the mask, being afraid of the girl leaving the garden for his face...not because, like u said, the girl lets them one time in the song, but because the people humiliate him one time and doesnt wanted that the girl did the same. The members are representing the ugly man afraid of showing his real self. This is not the only song abt it, i mean, the Smeraldo flower is such a common topic on BTS STORYLINE, and the mask too (perfomances, fake love, singularity...)
i think seokjin or one of the vocal line members have said that bts dont think about things like line distribution. they focus on who’s voice would sound the best at what parts of the song. thats why if anyone else sang a members part of any song , although they would kill it, it would just sound weird to our ears. thats how good their song composition is. its the art that comes first. line distribution rhetoric and arguments is irrelevant when it comes to this group. you only hear them from people who aren’t familiar with how bts as a group function.
This is what I love about them too. They don't really care about line distribution because they really focus on whose voice would sound great on what part.

Guess what!? Another vocal line song just came out! Bad Decisions with BTS (vocal line), Benny Blanco, and Snoop Dogg. The MV is on Banny’s channel while the lyric video is on BTS’. The song is in English but I’d still recommend checking out the official lyric video because it is sooo creative. The song is seriously a bop!😄💜

. The 4 vocalists of Bangtan are insanely talented, each in his way. (the rapline too, but it's not the topic) Jk's voice is amazing. It's not a coincidence if Big Hit choose him to be the main vocalist of the group, even at such young age than 15 years old ! He seems to have a perfect pitch, (maybe it' s why he can so well impersonated all the people around him) , he is always on point, he can sing any sort of song, in any range. I specially love JK's voice when he sing covers in american (I have to say that I'm NOT american) ,like Who, 1000 hours, Falling, etc.. but I'm also found of Stay Alive, so perhaps it's just the emotion he can convey in that type of sad or nostalgic song ? Same for Jin with japanese songs, the melody and the flow fit very well to his silver tenor voice and made him shine. Taehyung southful baryton just melt in your hears with jazzy vibes . And Jimin's angelic voice ... well, Jimin hit me and bring me in his world each time he sing, no mater what Lol ! Vocal line studio version are great, but they are better on stage : they always give themselves at 150%, you can feel their energy and passion. (Jin and Jimin high note in zéro o'clock , tho ! ) Same for the Rap line, and for BTS as a group. Actually The Truth Untold is based on a story that's why in the lyrics Jimin says 'because im ugly' The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone. because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Whenever they tried to approach him, he hid in anger. His happiness was to plant flowers in his garden. One day a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell a sleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. without realizing he kept waiting for her to come and the next day seemed a little brighter. Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to make a living. The man desperately wanted to help the woman. But he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks. He knew she would not love his 'grotesque' appearance. He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to make the flower in his castle. After many unsuccessful attempts, the man made a flower that didn't exist and filled his garden. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had died. plus that flower is called smrealdo which is connecting bts's storyline plusx2 ik this is a lot but i should say! the mask that taehyung wore in Singularity represents 'ugly' man's mask because he was trying to cover his face.

I got goosebumps when I first listen to Truth Untold, it really is a touching song. RM wrote the lyrics after reading a story about an ugly man hide in a castle.
The Truth Untold is the song that V's voice captivated me. My daughter was listening to it whilst doing the dishes one day. I started to listen to BTS then. That was Sept 2020 and I am deep down the rabbit hole now and loving every minute. Love all these songs but The Truth Untold holds a special place in my heart.

The Truth Untold is, as I understand, is about a character like a Beast and a poor village girl with whom he allows to pick flowers at his castle to sell in the village. They never meet, but he watches her from afar. He decides one day to reveal himself to her without his mask, but finds that she has died. He puts his mask back on and declares his undying love to her.
Right before the stage for zero o’clock during the ON:E online live concert (with no live audience physically there due to the pandemic), it was Black Swan performance in which Jimin performed a hauntingly poignant solo contemporary dance piece which was no doubt absolutely exhausting. Jimin rushed to change his outfit then came back out with no break and performed this song. You can tell he is a bit tired but yet he sang and performed so well. I love to watch Jimin perform. All 7 members of BTS are true gems
I work at Starbucks and we play music off Spotify in the store, but we can't really play a Kpop station because they still want pretty generic, customer friendly music. However there's some songs that have made their way into the playlists. Mostly from BTS or Black Pink. I swear to god! every time I'm really having a bad day or maybe just my anxiety shows up to mess with me BTS "Zero 0'clock" plays and is just there to remind it's going to be okay and things are going to get better. It's really odd and miraculous because I never really hear it on a normal day. It helps me a lot and also feels like BTS or the universe or something really is looking out for me and trying to comfort me

First Zero 0'clock made me cry, then it was Jk and Jimin's solo performances that killed me, then I was brought back to live so I could bawl my eyes out from Jin and Tae doing their solos at like 3-4 am!!

Other BTS songs that let you know more about Suga are Tomorrow, Nevermind, and Agust D-The Last. The Last is really sad, so i would pair it with the version of Agust D- So Far Away that has Jin and Jungkook. Suga's story has always seemed the extreme out of the members

Zero O’clock is one of my comfort songs. When I am having a horrible day I honestly remind myself of this song and it helps. I know that is cheesy but BTS does always make me feel a bit better.
One of the reasons I love the BTS vocal line so much is because you can instantly tell that it’s BTS. You know exactly who is singing which part. Their vocals are SO unique. I struggle to tell vocals apart sometimes with many other groups that I love, but BTS? Nope. They each have such a unique voice and I never have to wonder who is singing. Are they the most powerful vocal line? No. But they’re my favorite. The Truth Untold is stunning and the way they sing it is so utterly gut-wrenching. I loved your reaction and comments. Such a surprise to see this reaction too! So happy! And I adore your shirt! 💜 ETA: When you react to the rap line, Tear live at Wembley is unmissable. Tear is in my top 5 BTS songs of all time. Most Army think this song is about a relationship gone so pear-shaped that it’s broken beyond repair when they first become BTS fans. You think My God, who hurt them so bad - it’s a BRUTAL song & am not sure I should tell you what and who the lyrics are about - I’ll just say it’s one of the biggest plot twists in BTS lore lol. It’s an incredible song & I hope you will include it, or if not I still highly recommend it! 💜

I'm not going to pretend to be a vocal expert but I did spent 20 years of my life in competition choirs so I know my way around some notes. I think Jin has the best technique and the best pitch accuracy and I think it's because he had to have more training and more intensive training. Like he started from scratch at age 18. He really had to grind. The other boys have had lessons too but they've all been singing since they were young so it was more of a natural development. I think the rigorous vocal training really instilled in Jin some excellent technique. And now he's got crazy range, awesome belts, beautiful falsettos, pretty vibrato and incredible emotional depth. He's just such a great vocalist. And he's so amazing live.
Jin is an amazing vocalist but that’s not true. Jungkook literally has perfect pitch and he has the best techniques which is one of the many reasons why he’s the main vocalist!
I agree with everything written about Jin here except for one thing. Jimin is the member with the least singing experience and vocal training amongst the vocal line members. Jimin simply debuted without having had proper vocal training while others had. But It IS true that Jin had no prior vocal or dance training before joining big hit, and it is said that his dedication and hard work were praised by the vocal coaches. Kudos to silver voice Jin
Jungkook was singing where? In the sandbox? He was 13! when He joined. He never had any lesson. Even after joining He had few. His own words. He is just that talented. Your opinion about Jin but I fully disagree. He could never do vocal acrobatics Jungkook is capable of. His lastest vlive is anoght proof.
It’s true. Jk started so young. I think the fact of the matter is none of the members had any professional training in singing before joining big hit as trainees. All members got vocal trainings only as trainees except Jimin. Jimin didn’t receive proper vocal training even as they were debuting as a group (refer to burn the stage series and youquiz). Jimin only received professional vocal training years after. Jk started trainee life at 13 international age I believe? So young… but yet he was already being sought after by 5 or 7 well known agencies. That’s pure talent. Tae also didn’t sing prior to big hit. He wasn’t even planning to audition, in fact. He just came along with his friend who was auditioning and passed the audition himself impromptu. Jin was picked up by big hit when he was minding his own business at a bus stop. He was an aspiring actor at the time. I guess you could say Jin started the latest in terms of age. All in all, what is true is despite everything, one thing is true: all four members are each so unique in their vocal strengths and colors, and each brings something different to BTS songs. They are so different but yet symbiotic together. It’s amazing. They are amazing.
Jk has perfect pitch and is most stable vocalist while dancing. Jin is the best technical belter in BTS and has best vibrato too(saying as a professional singer myself)
