Not at all. I’m literally in the same boat. Waiting 18months for my house to be built. I get it. But if found that reminding yourself of your blessings helps to get through it. All pain and suffering is subjective and I would never downplay someone else’s experience.
But also, there are greater problems that having to wait a bit longer for your new house to be built.
@@brits72 agreed, each person's problems are their own, and are just as important as everyone else's. I understand the sentiment of 'be grateful for what you have as some people have nothing' but his house isn't just a house, it's what will be his home, it's what he has worked hard for and deserves.

Carl, remaining positive is a good approach. However that doesn't mean you shouldn't be protecting yourself. Contacting an attorney to review your contract is a reasonable way to protect yourself. You might be entitled to some financial discount, or be able to add a clause for a further delay discount. Since the outside brickwork wasn't completed, what's the condition of the interior after the winter you've gone through. An attorney can assist to ensure you're not paying for their mistakes and delays. *Getting into your own house will be worth it...and it can be painful getting there.*

Try not to let it get to you, Carl; building works nearly always overrun. This can currently be exacerbated by Brexit, if you're relying on imports from the EU, and by COVID-19 restrictions. Just put it down to experience and be patient; it'll be worth it in the end - the properties look very nice indeed! 'Looking good for 30, BTW!!

You have absolutely no perspective. Their are 1,000’s of people dying everyday from a virus, millions of families going without food but your house not being done in time seems to overshadow that for you. You don’t seem to understand your privilege if trying to make people feel your first world problems equate to the real hardships people face.
First off. I have worked my socks off for my property I’m buying. Second. I am not trying to over shadow anything. I completely understand what is going on in the world however, this is my KZhead channel and I’m here to show my life and what’s going on in my day to day. Third. I have had people In my life die of this awful virus but I still need to try and carry on with life as much as I can and we can. Maybe you should understand what is also going on in the world with mental Health and people dying from suicide because of trolls like yourself that don’t think before they write spiteful comment to people they don’t know.
