  • The song is about, the rapper asking everyone in his mother tongue if they can recall when he told them his child would never join gang members. He went further asking the child if he want to be initiated into a cult group or he want to hang around with wealthy people in society. Now the young boy has been initiated into a deadly fraternity, his life is in danger and he's now running helter-skelter He can't sit down for a minute to drink water because his life is at stake. The rapper is asking the son how does he see life now, I told him not to join a cult and now see his life. With anger in his voice, the rapper is asking the son who initiated him into the fraternity and he's eager to know the person who took him for initiation. P.S Thanks for watching the video 🙏🏾 🌍

  • Original Dorime/Ameno song was done by a French group ERA, 26 years ago. The background chorus in this remix is from the original. Interestingly, the chorus is a blend of several European languages. Now Goya's version has Edo language, English, and Nigerian pidgin English. The South African Amapiano and Nigerian Afrobeats have been incorporated. The producer is Ghanaian. There are Turkish dancers and probably more from other countries. So, it can easily be described as a global artwork. Above all I appreciate the fact that art is not being done only for the sake of art, but to entertain and pass a message to the young ones. Well done and Congratulations Goya, Nektunez and all those who worked on the project.

This group, knowingly or unknowingly gave themselves over to the devil by worshipping in his image. Satan was the angel of music, so it would only make sense he would lead people astray with sweet catchy music. Don't get me wrong, this song made me feel good and I vibes with it, until I saw the music video. It breaks my heart.....knowing none of them are actually saved. Because no one saved would be foolish enough to participate in a demonic ritual involving witchcraft and the image of the devil. It burdens my heart....seek Jesus. The one true King. The one who died for you YOU. He will never ask for anything in return, He just wants you with him for eternity. But this won't happen if you worship the imagine of the fallen creation. May God have mercy on whoever reads this and scoffs, for you are the fool, you are damned.❤️‍🩹

    • @@UpsideDown853 Is English your first/native language? Do you know what racism or being a racist is? I am doubting the answer is yes to any of the above, as your comment and ignorance suggests otherwise. The phrase “in your blood” is actually a figure of speech used commonly among native English speakers. It means or suggests that something comes naturally to someone/a group, albeit somewhat of a subjective statement, but a figure of speech nonetheless. Separately, why are you pressed by someone complimenting Africans? The comment stands and it is far from anything racist. Oh and “everyone” does NOT have the “same blood”. Have you ever heard of blood types? 🤓 Of course, it’s not based on geographical location or race, but I rest my case. 😇

  • "Who blend you?" Hits different if you schooled in Edo state, sometime in the past. Man, those were notorious days for young men who thought the association with cultists and their ability to intimidate others including rival cults, would bring them respect and a higher standing in school. "Mother come be motherless, father come be fatherless nothing no one can do"- Lots of young lives wasted in ensuing violence arising from various clashes between rival gangs. Honestly, surviving school back then as an undergraduate young man was truly an extreme sport, especially for us that stayed longer years due to the degrees we studied for. Gayo Menor masterfully explains the dangers these cause young people who are forced into a lot of things due to peer pressure. Whether it's sugar daddy, "yahoo" (cyber crime), cultism he admonishes the kids to avoid these social vices for there are no gains, only sorrow, and focus on getting their degree and being a better individual contributing to society. Remember, your Mama said "my pikin no go join cult".

Those initiations are a must, and they go very far to the untold stories never spoken in public. Having understood the meaning, makes so much sense as to why the video depicts that darkness.

This is the greatest song I have ever heard in my entire life n it connects with my African roots. Afrobeats an mother africa to the world. 🇧🇸🇧🇸🇧🇸 I hope to visit west Africa before I die this song is touch my soul we as black people came from far, history hasn't been kind to our people but we can forge our own destiny n have the power within ourselves to do so.
