Great job,I'm a 53 year old purple belt and there's never anyone in my age bracket always get moved down to younger guys it's brutal lol

Nice match and good win! Only improvements I would say are 1. Try to keep your toes pointed outward away from your opponent when you go for straight ankle locks in Ashi to prevent the reap (luckily the ref didn't DQ here)! 2. I would not be jumping closed guard as you could seriously injure your opponents knee with this. Instead you could get a grip and then fall to guard with a foot on the hip.

- Great advice man. I'm tankful the ref didn't DQ me even tho it was a complete accident. I jumped guard out of desperation because I didn't want to get taken down at the last min. But to your point, I could have seriously hurt my opponent. Thank you for your input bro. God bless 🙏🏿🙏🏿💪🏿💪🏿
