I associate such good things with his songs even though some of them remind me of people who I wish I didn’t lose and I’ve realised that every time I hit a lower point in life I come back to his music to find comfort and it works, it lessens the pain for me. I hope everyone is doing better than I am right now though ❤️

If I have to describe Mac Demarco as one word I would say nostalgic; all of his songs make me feel like a vivid memory of my past that just ended up abruptly, they just give me the feeling of a period of my life that was not just happy but unforgettable, like they are my safe place

I love his personality, he is just so much fun to watch in interviews, this music video really shows that side of him, I saw him live a few summers ago with my music producer friend, honestly one of the best performances I've seen, a no bull shit show, he told the P.A guys to stop the light show and just turn up all the lights so he could see the crowd, rare for a musician to do, I wanna throw my friend some love as we've been through a lot together he's heavily influenced by Mac, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Beaches ,you may be in for a surprise and he would love to hear your opinion
