The “Ghost of Hangovers Past”
Ingredients:
1 oz tequila blanco
1.5 oz mezcal
3 oz pineapple juice
0.5 oz lime juice
2-4 dashes Tabasco green jalapeño sauce (to taste)
Pour all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well, and strain into a double rocks glass over ice.

I wouldn’t want my father’s ashes because he’s a monster and I haven’t to seen or spoken to him since I was 17 (so about 11 years of estrangement) but I still wouldn’t like give them away to a family of strangers. I mean, it’s just so weird to give your dead relative to strangers. Like WTF. It’s exponentially less horrible than leaving a pet behind when you move but still pretty messed up.

@@Syakirin57 while the Among Us theory is very funny, the phrase has been around for much longer - if I had to guess I’d say it comes from looking at how words ‘fit’ in a poem or song (see: scansion), so saying something ‘scans’ is to say ‘that fits’, as in, ‘I can see that about you’, ‘i could have guessed that’ etc. Hope that makes sense, it can be hard to explain things like this!

My spooky story: This story took place 40 years ago when my dad was a kid. One evening, my grandma baked a pie and went to bed, leaving it to cool on the counter overnight. That night she heard faint noises but brushed it off because, ya know, 5 kids in the house. The next morning they discovered their house had been robbed. When they went into the kitchen, they found an empty pie dish and a note next to it. It said “Thanks for the pie missus, it was lovely”. They never found the burglars, but at least they liked the pie.
